While the store was clean and stocked, I felt uncomfortable being closely shadowed by a staff member pretending to be on their phone. I understand security is important, but the approach could’ve been more respectful.

The Cutestest Japanese market on Newbury street. Prices are amazing. You'd think a shop on Newbury would have pricing out of this world esp a specialty shop. Nope...reasonable.
Its like a mini Jaoanese convenience store.
The line can be pretty long but that because they have only one counter.
Still worth it.

One of the employees gave me a ticket (one of those lottery things for cute prizes) and didn’t tell me it cost money :( I opened it thinking it was like a free event. ended up having to pay for it, it made me want to cry, but otherwise cute store and no other issues. Just make sure not to go through that experience like I did.

The shop smells so good. It has variety Japanese stuffs, but some are a little expensive.

Smaller than I expected but filled with lots of items. I don’t speak the language, but I was able to find what I was looking for quite easily. I’ll go back with a shopping list next time.

Super lovely store. I can find out the skin care products and the cute Sanrio products. The employees are extremely helpful and kind. I had amazing experience at this store!

i love this store/the products but the employees r weird. they seem skeptical of ppl who aren’t east asian (from what i’ve heard/seen happen in the store). some girls are nice but i’d like to shop without being followed it makes me uncomfortable lol

A rare Japanese specialty store on Newbury Street. Although the store space is not large, it sells everything from stationery and small items, snacks and drinks to various drugstores and cosmetics. The prices are slightly expensive.
There is a strong perfume smell in the store, which I don't like very much.
