My initial foray into Saint Laurent was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the impeccable service provided by sales associate Jarred. From the moment my husband and I stepped into the store, Jarred's extensive knowledge of the brand's products was evident. I want to make a HUGE shout out to Joe Gambino, who helped my partner and myself at the Saks Fifth Avenue men's store. He was absolutely fantastic and made us feel so welcome. He was so funny, charming and genuine. An absolute gem. Thank you so much Joe! You made our trip so memorable and special. We love the pants and shoes! You have great taste and we are going to play the numbers after all your wonderful stories.

I walked in and was not greeted by anyone, but I was just browsing so I didn't mind. I began walking around looking around at the accessories as this why I came in. As I'm looking I hear someone yelling but I can't make out what they're saying so I continue browsing. The man the loudly yells "maam" so I turned around and he asked if I needed help, I told him I was just looking and he walked away. ( eventually found out his name was Roberts) I was later greeted by a nice gentleman who told me to let me know if I needed assistance; eventually he helped me with the things I found. As we were beginning to ring up my items, the associate helping me (I believe Timothy) turned around to grab for my items and Robertus rudely came over and moved my items out of the way. He then told me to move my phone from off of the keypad although I was prepared to pay. Robertus then began to cancel out what we were doing even though the were other registers available. This showed me that Robertus intentionally made it known that he was watching me when I first came in, and was upset that another person got the sale. Had he been more customer friendly perhaps that would have been the case. It's sad being racially profiled and discriminated against in 2023. Clearly my money spends like anyone else. I did bring this to the attention of the department manager Terry (may have been Tracey) and she advised she would look into it. She was very apologetic for the encounter but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. But what do I expect from a place that mailed me used alexander mcqueen boots. This is a bottom of the barrel "high end" store, not worth your money.

I went here twice for the same purse for my first time ever purchase . First time I was belittled and made smart remarks regarding my payment when they found out I was paying credit card. Then the associate tried to convince me I had no balance but when I explained it was a year old card that I haven't used( original credit card wasn't working). She didn't want to believe me or look up my account (yes I gave her my ID) call her manager (she said there was nothing he can do for me) and at this point I was so frustrated by the experience I placed an pick up order with my account which was cancelled three days later. I then went back in hope to grab a similar purse with a new associate I found the same purse again (that was the only one in store btw so it wasn't a separate purse )on the sales floor. the Second Lady was nicer and I got a YSL wallet in addition to the purse however she wasn't as attentive at the end when she found out there was another person waiting for her to buy a purse. And yes this was discussed openly in front of me. Would not recommend crappy customer service. I wanted to build a bond with this business but I rather take the trip to New York any day.

asked for fitting room, was told to wait one second, and then the same employee began assisting another customer, getting them a fitting room and bringing them additional sizes while ignoring me. When I asked again, they quietly unlocked a fitting room without saying anything. I don’t know why the employees here have such a rude attitude.

If you don't LOOK rich, don't bother walking in. My husband is very much a blue collar man, we walked in with an endless budget and could have very easily blown thousands of dollars on a suit. We were not greeted by any of the many employees, we were not asked if we would like any help in fact as we walked by many of them turned the other cheek in an EMPTY store. We left feeling very upset. Go to jcrew down the hall, very friendly and you won't feel "unworthy" unlike the judgmental SNOBS at Saks.

One employee was very short and rude with me when I tried to return clothes after trying it on in a different department. A different lady (who worked the sunglasses and handbag department?) was very helpful and sweet.

Today, I had an absolutely incredible interaction with Lisa who works in the online returns department on the second floor. She greeted me with a smile and immediately apologized for the wait, as there were several other people in front of me. She carefully listened to my concerns about a product which I felt had a significant defect and problem. After reviewing my options with me, she offered a solution which left me as feeling fantastic. Honestly, it was one of the most refreshing and pleasant interactions I’ve had at a retail store in over a decade. Once we wrapped up the transaction, she expressed her appreciation for my business which I greatly valued. It was a textbook example of perfect customer service from start to finish. I will return to Saks once again directly as the result of my interaction with Lisa. She is an absolute asset to the team and left me feeling very satisfied. Thank you for your kindness Lisa!

Do not trust Saks! I ordered $450 Gucci slides and received a counterfeit pair from their Boston store. Neither the store nor customer service cared or offered any reasonable solution. I am so disappointed and once resolved, will never do business with this company.
