First rule of salesmanship the customer is always right. Sales associate wanted to argue with customers that Vietnam boots are somehow better quality than the English ones. Not true by the way! Learn how to sell not argue ! You will go further in life and have a lot more money in your pocket!!!!

First time buying Dr. Marten boots and had a great time despite having severe buyers remorse in general about spending money. Zack was fantastic with helping me find the right boot (different from my initial thoughts) and was super helpful in discussing appropriate care of them. The whole experience was great!

Wanted to exchange the color of my brown Leona boots and Alex (my associate) was incredibly helpful, we bonded over our shared love for the Leona boot and he recommended insoles. Thanks for the great service and keeping my feet happy!

I bought my second pair of Docs in June of this year. I opened them in the fall to find that the shoes I bought were not leather like the ones I tried on. Now I understand that it is up to me to make sure I purchased what I did, but I was wrong. I made this judgement because of the great service and great shoes I had previously. The shoes feel and look plastic. This is the second time I have been fooled buying what I thought were leather shoes. You can't trust any product anymore. Even when you get them at the store.

Great customer service! Just remember to not throw away your receipts or boxes for a few months till you’re sure of your shoes you buy and make sure to buy what you know works for you. Unfortunately I was unable to exchange the shoes due to a fault of my own but was disappointed at how I was sized. I would recommend if you have narrow or smaller feet to size down as leather always stretches out. I was super excited for my new docs and they seemed to fit super snug when I left the store. Unfortunately they informed me to size up as it was my first leather doc marten purchase I typically by the vegan line. Do your research before buying :)

Had the best shopping experience. Staff were attentive and helpful and made my shopping experience so easy. I am in love with my first Dr. Martens. Awesome selection and will go back for the excellent service.

BEST service I have had in over 10 years! I probably won’t ever buy my Docs from anywhere else — meaning yes I will be going to Boston just for boots. (I am from NYC area)Firstly, the clerk was friendly, but not overly so. He explained how the new boot would feel, laced BOTH of them for me, and let me walk around.When I thought they felt a bit big so he ACTUALLY measured my foot, got the second set out, and proceeded to lace those too. (Which took some time, since they were they 20 eyelet boots)Deciding to wear the new ones out, he proceeded to make sure he put on the leather rub on them for me.Again… best and most attentive (but not overly so) service I’ve had in years! Plus, I got them $100 cheaper than online.

Such a great experience going into the doc's store! Megan was incredibly knowledgeable about each of the shoes in the store and was supportive in trying a variety of pairs on. She was a huge help and selecting the right pair of docs and ensuring they were the proper fit.

I just want to say thanks for a great buying experience! I spoke to several of the sales people and they were all very nice and helpful. The manager actually assisted me. Love his look! He's as cute as a button :-) Sending some love from an Alabama nurse in Boston.

I've been saving up for a few months for a pair of Dr Martens and finally had enough to go and get some, but I wasn't sure exactly what size or fit I needed, so I asked one of the salespeople, Cass, for help. This turned out to be the best choice I could have made--not only did she help me choose the perfect shoes, but she also provided me with the most positive shoe shopping experience I've ever had. She was so friendly and knowledgeable, had an answer for every question I asked, and I particularly appreciated how patient she was with my indecisiveness. I actually made a Yelp account specifically because I wanted to sing her praises; the shoes are excellent, but the customer service was above and beyond!

When I was in high school (late 90s), I had a GREAT pair of pink Docs. I don't know what happened to them... I might have lent them to a friend and never gotten them back or something. I'm sad they are no longer in my life, and I recently decided I needed to get another pair. I wanted a simple black pair, but with a chunkier sole. There were 3 staff working, it was right at closing time, and I felt a little pressured/rushed inside my own head because I wandered in at such a late time. However, the person who helped me was incredibly nice, patient, and wanted to be sure we took the time together so that we could choose the right pair. I picked a pair that seemed perfect and they fit like a glove! The clerk who rung me up said they had the exact same pair as their first pair of Doc Martens they ever got and they were still their favorite. I thought they'd be tough to break in... maybe a little uncomfortable at first, but nope! They are awesome. Just a sold pair of boots, not too heavy, and super versatile. I wear them with jeans, dresses, and even to the office. People love them. More importantly, though, I love them!

I came in with a gift card that was the result of sending back two incorrectly sized pairs of shoes — the Bex was too small for me in 6, and the Spence was too big in 7. I thus thought I’d get a Bex in 7 and the Spence in 6.Olive kindly and wisely advised me against this, and patiently explained the reasoning behind why. She instead suggested models and sizes that would actually suit my anatomy, for healthier and more comfortable long-term fits. I ended up getting two pairs in styles I love even more than my original ask coming in.Thank you so much Olive! You’re a superstar! ?❤️
