Trident Booksellers & Café opened in 1984 and has since expanded from a small bookstore café to a full-service restaurant with two dining rooms, a large private event space, plenty of patio seating, and two floors of books. Located on Newbury Street in historic Back Bay, Trident is the Boston's most popular independent bookstore. Menu favorites are the Lemon Ricotta Stuffed French Toast, Vegan Cashew Chili, and Deluxe Grilled Cheese. We also have a full espresso bar, a large selection of loose leaf teas, beer & wine, fresh juices, and smoothies.
Loved the cafe/book store combo but service wasn't very good. Food was ok not great but loved the whole ambiance & variety of menu!

Quaint place! Great location, food was terrific and the book selection for the size of the building was impressive. Loved it and will be going back.

Great breakfast spot if you want something fast. Love ordering and paying through the app. My potatoes with my meal was yummy. Nice spot when it is raining outside.
