HORRIBLE BANK.... They bought over Sterling National bank in my town and I have had nothing but problems..... been on the phone for hours and I was told a supervisor was too busy to help me... worthless customer support and next time they do an update they need to hire a developer that knows what they are doing instead of the idiots that they used

Subject: My Unfortunate Customer Service ExperienceI recently had one of the worst customer service experiences when I called a particular branch to discuss a fee-related issue. The representative I spoke with displayed a shocking level of rudeness and seemed intent on arguing with me instead of providing the assistance I needed. His lack of courtesy and unwillingness to guide me through my inquiries left me deeply dissatisfied.

Despicable Identity Thieves: Webster Bank owns Brio Direct Bank offers a high interest rate. They ask your income, home ownership, job, drivers license number, 5 security questions. Then you must agree that this highly personal information can be used for marketing by their bank and other companies. They probably sell it to identity thieves. Maybe they then sell you identity protection. Do NOT open an account with Brio Direct online. It will cost you. Webster should be ashamed of themselves.

The most incompetent customer service team that over promises and under delivers. Don't bank with them unless you like a bank that takes a long time, even for the simplest tasks.

Worst bank ever! Went in to exchange $20s for $100s. NO ONE IN THE BANK. Would not exchange the bills unless I was a customer. Why would anyone want to be a customer at this bank?

I can't say enough about Alison Gibbons and all of the mortgage team at Webster. Alison is knowledgeable and cared about our loan as much as we did! The whole team worked hard for us and we couldn't be happier.

I can't say enough about Alison Gibbons and all of the mortgage team at Webster. The team was knowledgeable, and Alison cared about our loan as much as we did. After working with other banks and brokers, Webster really went the extra mile. Great people.

This bank provides exceptional personal service. John Ferguson and Debra Drapalla examined our mortgage application in great detail. Alison Gibbons and Roxana Zelayandia, in the Mortgage Department, ask precise questions and process forms quickly. Outstanding banking! I am impressed that the bank has a table to collect food for The Greater Boston Food Bank. This indicates good values. I have also made deposits at the branch on LaSalle Road in West Hartford, CT. Comfortable and spacious. All tasks performed well.

No. This is NOT a themed bank! Just another boring bank trying to cash in on an icon. . They clearly just want your business and care only about being a financial institution and not paying homage to an American institution. There is no memorabilia, no cute sized vaults, and no theme music playing. There are no signs of Alex Karras, or even the atrocious looking Susan Clark. This brilliant tale of an impulsively married couple who had to adjust to their new lives and sudden appearance of a tiny African American man who wanted to live in their house, is now lost in dollar signs and pens. I'll try my luck at Chase Bank, that sounds kinda fun at least. 2 stars because to be fair I do not mind that there is no Ben Vereen.
