“I love hardware stores to begin with, but when the associates and owner are not going to let you walk out without solving a problem, It’s nirvana. One of the best hardware stores I’ve ever frequented (and I’ve been to hundreds). Add to the mix how fun, friendly, positive and informative they are and you have a winner and a half!!”

“Eastham Ace Hardware is great: they are always well-stocked; they are Benjamin Moore paint pros, and provide other helpful services, e.g., screen repair. Join the Ace Rewards program for discounts and promotions. They are conveniently located right on Rt 6 in Eastham, and you will find the most friendly and helpful staff on the Cape - a really nice, helpful and knowledgeable bunch of folks!”

“Harwich Paint and Decorating is an outstanding store with stellar customer service. Whatever I need, I am steered in the right direction, with courtesy. Moreover, it is the “to go” place for window shade treatments. My recent experience was so positive, from the personal attention received in choosing the product to the installation. Korey was most accommodating in scheduling and Lynn and Jason proved an impressive team, always professional and willing to please.”

“They didn't have exactly what I was looking for but found me an alternative. The hardware selection and the things they cover are well thought out. I actually ended up with a better item”

“Great little hardware store ! We are tourists and didn’t need anything houseware or hardware related but came in just to browse. We ended up getting a hat and sticker for much cheaper than neighboring retailers !! Hint : their salt water taffy is the BEST price on Main Street !!! 🍬🍬🍬 Sadly, I spent $15 on the exact same box elsewhere…. but it’s less than $7 here at Chatham Paint and Hardware. Great prices and even better service. The salesman here was a delight to talk to. Recommend!!”

“Peter and Glenn and Tim and Don and all of the guys, are helpful and kind. You can't get an answer from anyone at Home Depot but these guys are anything but. I've been coming here for decades and the same awesome guys help me over and over again. I am very grateful for these guys and this place.”

“I’m always stopping by Ace Hardware in Harwich Port for different house projects, and Rusty always goes above and beyond to help me out. He takes the time to show me exactly what I need and explains how to do whatever project I’m working on. Super knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Great customer service every time I go in. Thanks”

“As an interior designer, I use Snow & Jones in Yarmouth frequently for my client projects. I usually work with Danielle or Josie, and they are professional & helpful. I rely on them for their product knowledge and attention to detail when it comes to the various parts that go into plumbing fixtures. My team works closely with them throughout our client projects, including when we come into the showroom with clients to make selections. And when I have a question about a product or need help sourcing a specific item, they are quick to respond with the information I need.”

“A lot of the people who work there are fantastic (Jake and Danny are a few of them) and are the reason I’m giving this 4 stars. The prices have definitely come up though and they did up the prices before the tariffs were even in place. The lumber selection is not the best and there is a lot of twisted wood and I think quality inspections definitely need to be done more frequently. The selection and variety of tools and such are great though!”

“Comparitivly priced to Home Depot and way more convenient than going to Home Depot in Hyannis. They have a much better supply and choices of building lumber. They also cut the longer lengths of material to whatever you need.”
