Rt. 137, Cape Cod Rail Trail, BrewsterI waited for one of these weiners at the Outer Cape Music Fest last night. It was dicey for a moment there...dude was alone slingin' dogs to a ravenous and mildly intoxicated crowd. I myself was getting antsy there for a minute wondering if I had the patience to wait for what could have been a very mediocre hot dog. Was it mediocre?? HECK NO! Very tasty. Loved it. Eager to try it again on their home turf.
P.s. I had the German Dog. Big fan.

Snowy Owl Coffee House & The Night Owl
7 Underpass Rd, BrewsterLove the new location of this local favorite, which makes it a great place to grab a coffee. But if you are like me and enjoy a regular cup of brewed coffee with nothing in it, just pray it hasn't been sitting around. Espresso based drinks are great, but they don't tend to turn over their brewed coffee enough. Maybe I'll stick to Americanos?

2689 Main Street, BrewsterThis was a wonderful stop while traveling along 6A. We were surprised by the large menu which pleased everyone in our party. My wife had the fish tacos and fries (she loved that the fries were unsalted and allowed her to add a little herself), fried to perfection. I had the lobster roll which had chunks of lobster meat on a toasted roll. Our daughter had the Cape Cod Salad topped with a crab cake which she loved, and our grandchildren had nuggets and kids fish. Their staff were incredibly accommodating, helpful and friendly. Fast service and delicious food. The kids also loved the fun sundaes. We will be back again!
Update-visited again over Labor Day weekend. Staff was friendly as our first visit, and food consistent. We enjoyed a Fisherman’s Platter which was recommended to get a little of everything. It was friendly to perfection and delicious. Lobster Salad Roll with fries was fabulous. We are going to try to come again before the close for the season mid September. Thanks JTs

239 Underpass Rd, BrewsterStopped by for dinner after a baseball game. It was crowded, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. They made you aware they were busy and food was taking about 30 minutes. I appreciated them being upfront about it and I was fine to wait!
Glad we stopped, the food was really good. I loved the tacos and my kids did too! Great place, great food, great atmosphere. Can sit outside to eat in the shade.

The Cape House
284 Paine's Creek Rd, BrewsterHad the fish dinner which was good even thought it was pieces of fish & not a full filet or piece of fish. These small pieces were tasty. Portion was large and shareable. Coleslaw needs more flavor but it was crisp and fresh. The clam fritters were the bomb, flavorful and moist. Tartare sauce was a bit too mayonnaisey for my tastes. All together solid option when on route 6a.
