“I stopped by the store hoping to find everything I needed to create a DIY guest scrapbook, but I couldn’t quite find what I was looking for (I’m extremely detail-oriented!). Fortunately, the wonderful Helen came to the rescue. She was attentive, helpful, polite, and genuinely kind throughout the entire experience. The store is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit! Thank you, Helen, for all your help. Liam’s grandpa truly appreciates it!”

“Lovely store, very helpful person found me a pattern and chatted about my project. It’s tucked away on the lower level on a pedestrian street store front - do not be deterred, you will find it!”

“First time into Blick and it was amazing! For college students in Boston majoring in Graphic Design or need some art supplies for classes the one here in Brookline Ave near Fenway Station for those taking the T is amazing and is the Place for getting that equipment! Also the employees are very nice espically the cashier I talked to very nice place here with about everything a designer needs to draw. Paint, etc.👍”

“My husband and I had a fantastic experience working with this business! We brought in a painting, a poster, and a set of signed New England Patriots photos, and they handled everything with incredible care and attention to detail. The person we worked with was knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect frames and matting to complement each piece. The craftsmanship is top-notch—the final results exceeded our expectations. The inspired Klimt painting, in particular, looked amazing in its new display, and we couldn’t be happier with how they preserved and highlighted the signatures. If you're looking for a framer who truly cares about their work and takes the time to get everything just right, come here. We’ll definitely be returning here for future framing!”

“We recently booked this place for a friend's milestone birthday. The instructor was amazing and very thorough. She patiently explained what mosaic art was and what an artist inside us could do. The choices of mosaic are just outstanding that includes glass, stones and metals if we needed to go wild. The place is very clean and the instructor never rushed us. Worth a class or more if you live around.”

“I took my first-ever pottery wheel lesson at Thrown Ceramics and had the BEST time! Diana was an incredible instructor - patient, encouraging, relaxed, and great at breaking down the steps so even a total beginner like me could actually make something on the wheel. She explained the process and steps so well (and without anything feeling overwhelming) that I instantly knew I'd found my newest hobby! Thanks to Diana's lesson I was able to make a mug and I'm so proud that I made anything at all, let alone a mug (which I've used everyday now)! The studio is absolutely gorgeous so charming - it has such a calm, welcoming vibe. Mike and Diana are so welcoming and approachable, and have clearly created a space that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in and it feels like the kind of place where you immediately want to stay and keep creating. They also have an incredible selection of glazes, tools, and beautiful handmade pieces and gifts in the shop. Mike and Diana were so kind and knowledgeable as I asked millions of questions on what the different tools were used for, it's really cool that they have such a variety. AND they're right across from the Waban T stop which I love. I walked in excited to just try out something new but left completely hooked on ceramics. I can’t wait to go back for more lessons!”

“The store is very big and has a little of everything, as you can see from my pictures. A lot of things were out of stock (like the whole section of textile), but I guess it is understandable in the very beginning of the academic year. In general - a very useful place in this location of Boston, as everything else with crafts and art supplies is not close by... except the Tufts art store near MFA, but it is tiny and doesn't have much.”

“I had a really great experience at Colorworks Paint and Decorating Centers. Miranda was amazing from the moment I walked in. She was patient, easy to talk to, and genuinely took the time to help me find what I needed without making me feel rushed at all. It’s rare to come across someone who makes the whole experience feel so smooth and welcoming. You can tell she truly cares about customers and enjoys what she does. Really appreciate all the help. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks again, Miranda!”
