Tim was extremely helpful and personable. I had my mind set on specific pair boots for an upcoming concert in 2 days. I was told one boot was a half size off at check out and they were the last pair. He called another store, had them hold the boots for me and gave me a price match. He was super personable the entire time helping me. He is the best!

Apparently this store received a new store manager, that transferred from Woburn, her name was Jackie. Absolutely did not like this woman. It all started when I went into DSW for Orientation Day, I had gotten a job offer and I accepted it. The very next day I couldn't show up to work for the rest of the week, due to February Vacation, and traveling out of state. I put in a week leave, and she honored it. I had no idea she was pulling employees out of their day off to cover my shift, due to not enough employees for DSW. I didn't understand why she didn't get on her computer and look for applications to this store location so she could have a stronger staff. The week after I came back from vacation, I've let Jackie know that I cannot come to work the next day, because a family member had a doctor's appointment and I couldn't be dropped off. I didn't have my own car, they were my transportation. Jackie got upset and told me I was "jeopardizing her store", "you need to be here", and "your (family member) needs to know your schedule." I told her it was not my fault and there was nothing I could do about it, I couldn't make it to work. She then went into my schedule messing with my hours, and the third day Ive returned to DSW, got pulled into the office getting told that, "Were having a busy day and I don't think that you can do it. So I put you off for the rest of the week." Never asked me for my opinion. After that happened, she's having tension at me. Giving me looks all because I couldn't make it to work the day before. I punched out for my lunch break, and quit the job. Not working for anyone who's going to have an attitude like that, petty, and retaliation. Also very boisterous and loud. But overall I like the store. Very classy and large selection of shoes. The shoes are very pricey but your paying for the brand names.

This place has a good selection, but the staff try to guilt you into signing up for the VIP program. The cashier Farah was great right up until I said I am not interested in the VIP program after which she behaved dismissively and didn't even wish me a good day. Poor service. Poor staff training, and clearly poor store leadership as staff behavior is a reflection of store management behavior. I consider this a failing of management not Farah. I suggest you shop elsewhere unless you really enjoy these kinds of pressure tactics.
