I purchased a home in October 2023 when mortgage rates were sky-high. From all the mortgage rate quotes I received, Metro Credit Union had one of the best mortgage interests, by a decent margin too. David Varno was our assigned mortgage specialist and he was superb in guiding me through the process. He was communicative, easy to reach and pro-active in getting all the paperwork and ducks in order for the underwriter to sign. Overall, while I feel like the process took a bit longer than I was expecting (due to my complicated financial background), I still recommend this credit union for the competitive rates.

On hold for over an hour everytime i call. unresponsive and useless bank. I will not be taking out any loans from these banks in the future. Customer service is horrible across greater Boston branches. Just automate these workers already

I like this credit Union at its Burlington location.The entire crew is so helpful to my wife and IWas not too crazy about them moving to their new location ( much further of a drive )But we’ll worth the trip for the way we are treated there.5 out of 5 stars !

I had the most wonderful experience Saturday. I went in to get a home equity loan. This bank is so awesome I drive over and hour to use it. The person who was helping me was the most pleasant person. She was so organized and informative. She deserves a 10 star review. You are so lucky to have people like that working for you. Thank you so much for your service and kindness.

The people in the Burlington Massachusetts branch are always very good with customer service. The phone experience is not that great if you’re waiting for somebody to respond back to you from leaving a message. But if you leave a message on the Internet site, I have gotten a quick response and they did what I had requested so I no complaints about that. Like I said, the people in the branch are always very nice, personable and get accomplished what i need done. I have also been to the Tewksbury branch-awesome as well. They definitely need improvement on the phones though.

Been a member for years. I was just in the Burlington branch today and saw the sign on the door which "strongly" advised the wearing of masks regardless of vaccination status. I always do because of my age and medical conditions. I walked in and saw that some of the customer service people were maskless and not behind plexiglass. I went to the only rep who wore a mask. Please don't put up signage recommending customers wear masks for the protection of the employees if they won't do the same.

I've been a member for 20+ years. I can never get anyone on the phone when I call. None of the branches have their own number.

The customer service here is horrible. Me and my girl have tried three times to get a joint account and everytime we have been turned away. First it was that they did not have the time. Second time was the person that makes accounts is not here. This last time, this last time it was the last straw. We come in with plenty of time and no one was in line. After the teller supervisor tried serval times to pawn us off on her coworker she asked us to wait. Then came back and asked us question on what they needed to open an account and I had everything Metros website wanted. So, she peppered us with question, saying her coworker will help you once she is done. She then asked a question my girl did not have the paper work for and a smile came over her face and she said ,"oh we cannot help you, then ". I will never be back and I hope that teller is fired.

Not impressed that I spent 20 minutes listening to music and no one ever answered my call for a question about your services. If this is an example of your customer service I think I will stay away and find some other place to do business.
