A nice club with regular play and occasional events. Good for kids and adults. There are a few snacks on hand for sale on the honor system and places to eat near by. There is a small skittles area for parents and players who finish early. Tournament fees are low. Nice not to need to travel/commute to play rated matches.

We ran into this place by accidentally and we loved it!!! Would consider to come back in summer to play more games.

Events are well attended by a variety of players, beginner to (grand) master. Most tournaments are USCF rated, so there’s a level of seriousness that comes with that. People are also welcoming when you show up to play casually during the event and generally are happy to talk about chess.
