In a country in which financial precarity seems to be the norm, and big banks with impersonal and insensitive service are everywhere, it's nice to know Cambridge Trust exists. I've been a happy customer of theirs since I opened my first savings account at the age of 10. Short of writing a novel, I'll just say that they've handled moves out of town, ID theft, lost plastic, and potential overdrafts with precision and personalized care. They have a local phone number I can call, where the same few people will always pick up if ever I have a question or concern. Their branch manager once called me to personally check in after I made a large purchase, just to make sure all was good. These things are generally unheard of. You have a customer for life.
