The pharmacy at CVS Harvard Sq. Is substantially understaffed given the volume of customers. The pharmacist and other team members are excellent and do their very best under difficult circumstances. I now go to Walgreens sometimes as they have fewer people, and staffing sufficient to provide good service. Media talks about this problem at CVS —time for corporate to do some hi g about it—enough staff at fair wages.

I had an important nosebleed and was advised to see a doctor. I was surprises they did not have some kind of nose plug because I have seen them in different EU countries and UK and was advised to get saline instead.

TLDR: employees here will lie to your face to scam you out of your money
Had to get an employee to unlock my detergent, and was forced to check out at the register. Sure, no big deal.
The employee then yelled at me until I got a CVS card, then yelled at me throughout the process. He said that it would give me a discount and that the card was completely free, and was very frustrated that I would ask.
Given how much this man yelled at me, I immediately looked up the carepass he had signed me up for after I left. It is an automatically renewing $5/month charge. In other words, employees here lie to your face to take your money. Thankfully I was able to cancel the membership online in the end, but only because I knew not to trust the man yelling at me

The staff here is so rude. I was using self checkout today and using a physical coupon for the first time (usually i use the app on my phone) and was unaware that after applying a coupon, you have to tear it off and put it in the "coupon" slot. I asked the worker, Caroline, standing behind me what I needed to do and she was incredibly condescending in her response and acted very inconvenienced by my question. As I was leaving, I heard her screaming at a young girl who pressed the wrong button when checking out. A few weeks ago I was checking out with a cashier who didn't understand how to apply the $10 monthly care pass reward to my purchase. He was getting very frustrated and started to snap at me when I offered suggestions. He scanned then refunded all of my items twice, started picking up random items on the counter which were not included in my purchase, then refunding those items, then demanded I needed to purchase something at the counter for $3 in order for him to apply my $10 reward. I have no idea why this was needed because my purchase cost over $10... but I just wanted to go at that point so I obliged and picked up a Reese's for $3.50. It seemed like instead of asking a manager or neighboring cashier for help, he would just use trial and error, while I stood there waiting, to apply the reward. The whole ordeal took 20 minutes but he finally figured out how to apply my reward and finished checking out. As I was turning to leave he said I didn't actually buy the $3 Reese's he demanded I order and that I needed to give it back. I pointed out that I was charged for it on my receipt and only purchased it because he said I needed to. Instead of asking a manager for help, he screamed to me "What is wrong with you? Just leave!"

Smart operation, I could tell there was good teamwork thanks to the pharmacist and the techs.

Overall good drugstore with convenient things, open 24/7, slightly overpriced, but that is the price to pay for convenience (5/28/23).

The pharmacy here is literally slower than a snail. Over 45 minutes to give out basic medication.

Average CVS. I don't know what it is with CVS, but whenever I'm looking for something, they're out of it and I have to settle. Luckily I had coupons from a previous giant receipt so I was able to get my second choice for cheap.

Simply great to have a drug and convenience store next to the Harvard yard! Cannot complain at all.

As uncommon as it may be to write a review for a CVS, I absolutely had to write one here and will be filing a complaint against this store. As per the review below, the employees here are by far some of the most disrespectful people I've ever come across. They have zero patience and lack zero respect. They'll let someone rob the store but heaven forbid someone tries to make a decision as to what they want because it's not visible unless you're up front standing in line. Also, no one was behind me so it's not like I was holding up the line. But this employees disrespectful remarks is truly a first timer + there was a second employee berating me for not being in line? I don't get it.

The level of incompetence and unprofessionalism of the cashiers in this CVS is mind-blowing. I hate doing self checkout, so, every time I come here I try to have one of the cashiers ring up my order and they are ALWAYS incapable of doing it. There is ALWAYS a problem and I wind up doing self- checkout anyways. Also, they are ALWAYS rude and insulting about it. The next time one of the little pricks that works the counter in this place rolls his eyes or makes a rude comment at me, I am going to drag him outside and show him what happens when you treat people like crap.

It is always great to find a CVS when you need one. You can essentially find whatever pharmaceutical need you have and it basically looks like every CVS you have walked into. We found everything we needed without a hassle. The employees were helpful.
