Will be updating this review as I continue to go to HUHS. I have been seeing HUHS consistently for over three years, I have never received such a blatant disregard for my well-being and care as a human being.

The person who works at the front desk on the 3rd floor in urgent care was incredibly rude. She was on the phone and being incredibly rude to a person trying to schedule an appointment. She literally said “I can’t tell you all the time slots I have available”. When I asked if the person I was looking for had checked in, she refused to answer my question. She denied information to their mother as well. She also chose not to provide any other information like an estimate of the waiting time or an average time for a patient’s visit.
When it was time for me to leave, I was looking for the stairwell and was told there wasn’t one and I needed to use the elevator. No intention on helping me find where I was going.
The person on the first floor (Mar 1st at noon) on the other hand went above and beyond and helped me find the exact address I needed.

Certainly negligence, and borderline malpractice.

Complete joke. I'm a student, and it's almost as if they enjoy leading you on and then cancelling on you the night before
Save yourself the pain and just go to the CVS by the Harvard Shop

Warning! do NOT be seen by the Urgent Care director Dr. Maheras. Especially if you’re a woman. Service is deplorable.

As an employee of Harvard University, and someone who has had to call and send multiple people here, including myself, this center SUCKS.
The front desk staff are, for the most part, rude, unknowledgeable, and unhelpful. They once denied me any kind of care under claims I was not under their insurance - I am a Harvard employee, yes I am under their insurance.
Another front desk staff was clearly unhappy to get calls from me, always quick to brush me off, interrupt me and hang up as soon as possible.
Multiple other coworkers and students have shared similar stories of staff who refuse help, display unprofessionalism, and are downright rude despite numerous complaints.
My most notable account:
One student wanted to be seen for severe chronic pain. The office told her to call the next day due to being booked out. She did just that in the morning and was told the same thing. On the third day she was told the same thing. I called on her behalf, fully explained the situation… and urgent care told me to TELL THE STUDENT TO CALL AGAIN SO THEY COULD TELL HER THE SAME THING.
Needless to say, she did not get an appointment.

I met with an NP, who was uncomfortable prescribing all three medications I have historically gotten from my PCP. I discovered this across two separate appointments.
She referred me to a psychiatrist for Trazadone, I waited a month and did a lot of work to get into the psychiatrist, who wrote me a script for 6 months..... I take it daily and now, 6 months later, am out of refills and have to go through the whole process again.
Waste of my time. Currently working to find a new PCP outside of HUHS system that will prescribe what I understood to be basic medications.

Hands down the worst medical service I have been through. You have to call them to track every update of your case and their line is always busy. Their message system online is not working and there is no proper way that you could communicate with your primary doctor. The specialty service is even worse – wait when you find out that you'll only get an appointment 6 months ahead for your requested specialty department.

HUHS closes at 5:30pm everyday, because no injuries or medical problems ever happen after 5:30pm...

It’s one of the worst health care systems I’ve dealt with. So disappointing in so many ways. Can’t believe we pay for this.

Can’t believe the service can be so bad with a healthcare provider associated with a famous university. My daughter goes to Harvard and unfortunately has sickness requiring visits to this place. In both visits the staff at the front desk were very rude and unprofessional. How does the management not remove such staff?
Today, a staff asked for my daughter’s temperature. She gave the temperature in Celsius, which is used in overwhelming number of countries in the world. The “nurse” responded by “I don’t know what you mean.”
I go to Stanford healthcare often, and the staff is incredibly caring and caring. Why is it so bad there in Harvard?! What’s wrong ?!

It's beyond me how this place has the name "Health Services". No matter what health issue you go with, you are guaranteed to leave with it untreated, plus hypertension. Be prepared to deal with rude staff members, subpar health care services and an awful phone support.
