I just want the owner to wear his mask so that it covers both his mouth AND nose. Is this too hard when you are serving and selling to the public?

Came in during COVID-19 quarantine to get some hard cider, I will be back. Met Jim, who is a great guy! 10.99 for 6 pack of Angry orchard. We spoke about how this was his father's store, and how being in the alcohol business is pretty nice in the age of store closures for non-essential businesses. Cheers!

person at the register was super unfriendly and stared me and my friend down the whole time we were in the store. At checkout, me and my friend were in line for a while and he let another couple cut us in line for no apparent reason and when brought up to him he didn't care. Will not shop here again.

This is probably the best liquor store in the Harvard Square area. The service is efficient and the staff are very helpful. There was a stack of White Claw with different flavors, and I wanted one closer to the bottom, and one of the staff members went out of his way to help me get to it. I was really appreciative of that. I feel like at other liquor stores, the staff can sometimes be so ignorant of whether a customer needs help.

Great staff; a neighborhood favorite. I've received some really great recommendations here, and for better prices than you would think.

Owners are so, so kind. They have great selection for such a small store. Fair prices.

Jim is going high end! Seriously, pay another visit he now carries Hendrick's for way less than anyone else (even NH) and is ordering Santa Margarita. If Jim doesn't carry it, he will on your next visit!

I wasn't going to complain about this place, except that I noticed that they had a big sticker on the counter "People on Yelp love us! 4/5 stars!" Really? Firstly, they don't. Secondly they shouldn't. The guys there have always been decently friendly to me, when they look up from their TV, but the place is irritating because it stays in business only because of it's location and the addictive nature of what it sell. It is overpriced, and as of last time I was there, about a third of the bare metal shelves were empty because no one had bothered to re-stock them. It is also clear that nobody is putting any love or thought into the wine collection, and therefore, as an only semi-educated wine consumer, I always walk out with something overpriced and mediocre. I really wish this place sucked less, because it is around the corner from my father-in-law's house. So despite it's suckiness, I probably end up back there again one day. Oh laziness...
