Terrible experience with alterations. My items were not finished on time, and I never received a call about the delay or the questions they had about the work. After being four days late and telling me they didn’t know where the seamstress was, I ended up taking my things elsewhere.

Brought 2 dresses for stain and both looks like they didn’t even try. Both are still dirty and the front desk lady is very rude.

Moved our kid into college. Discovered new bed sheets had an odor and wanted them washed. Called and asked — was told they would be ready the next day. (I hesitated when I saw the reviews, but they were within walking distance and I figured what could go wrong)
Dropped off 30 min later and found out that no, a simple wash won’t be next day but some other service (cleaned and pressed?) could be done next day. (Perhaps a new employee along with a language barrier?). Fine - we have a 100 things to get done moving our kid in. Going to be $65. No problem
Next afternoon we get a phone call. Sorry, someone was sick, sheets aren’t done but they will be the next day at 9am. Told to show up then. Ok, stuff happens
Show up at 9am, no sheets, with the delivery guy on the phone apologizing that he can’t rush a single order. Totally not his fault. Same (new?) employee can’t figure out how we can prepay now but at least she’s trying. Ok, kid will have to pickup and pay later. We leave for our flight.
Up to now, about a 3/5 star experience
Kid picks up the sheets, different lady offers no apologies for getting them late and tells her that I was being dramatic. Certainly wasn’t the case. Lesson learned — go elsewhere.

Vicky fixed the zipper on my handbag as soon as I walked through the door and kindly told me where to do a finish that her machine didn't allow. Thanks Vicki!

Took a nice dress here to get a stain out, and it didn't even look like they tried. Took to another cleaners in the area, and they got the stain out for less money. Incredibly disappointing. Would not recommend.Service: Special care fabric cleaning

I've been using this conveniently-located cleaners for almost a decade. And the staff have always done a pretty reliable job at dry cleaning. I've never had any cause for complaint. Until recently, that is, when I had some tailoring done---and the items were rendered unwearable. When I brought this to their attention (not complaining, just seeking a remedy or partial refund) I was treated so rudely that I was brought to tears. The tailor shouted at me and spoke abusively throughout my entire visit. Her fellow staff member, who I've always had nice conversations with, accused me of failing to ask for what I wanted. (Did I ask for my clothes to be ruined? I don't think so.) I'd been a friendly & loyal customer for a decade, I did not deserve to be treated with such profound disrespect for bringing a self-evident error to their attention in a polite way. Reading the other Yelp reviews, I see that being shouted at by the seamstress and denied respectful recourse for damages is something that occurs on a regular basis: I guess I just lucked out on previous occasions. Sadly I will need to find another cleaner/tailor. I'd be grateful for any recommendations.
