This small family business did an excellent job getting the deep stains out of my pale pink pea coat. It looks the best it has since it was brand new. They offered friendly and reasonably priced service.

I've had a few items dry cleaned here and they always do a good job, but whenever I ask about the student discount that is clearly posted in the front window, they get annoyed and refuse to honor the discount. I don't understand why they continue to keep that sign up.
Edited to add: I don't really appreciate the lies in the response to this comment. I've been to this establishment only three times (including today) in the span of four years. I highly doubt you would have remembered me. That's also not consistent with the conversation we had today when I came in. I'll be finding another dry cleaner from now on. I am very grateful to Huron Cleaners for being open still in the evening when I finally found time to take my badly stained jacket. Frank at the counter carefully checked and pointed out many more stains than I had even noticed (including perspiration staining around the neck, and spots on the back that I had never seen) - and Fabio worked hard to remove them all, within a week! Thank you both so very much!

Huron Cleaners is my go to place for years now. On occasion i have asked them to mend something. If i forget to pick up an item, he will call to remind me. It is nice he knows my name and my preferences. We always have a pleasant chat. Local service is so important to me. And of course they do a great job!

Went a few months ago to get dry cleaned. Staff was rude and would not clean again when they didn’t get stains off. Don’t waste your time here! !!

I did not realize how much service and attention to details mattered in dry cleaning until I discovered Huron Cleaners. I've now been using them for almost 10 year now. They listen, focus on what you need, and do what they promise. Over the years I've gotten to know the owner and his son, one of whom always seems to be there. It's clear that, as a family business, they take a lot of pride in their work and the loyal clientele they have established.

TLDR: DO NOT TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS, AND GO TO THE OTHER DRY CLEANER DOWN THE STREET (HALF THE PRICE AND MUCH BETTER SERVICE)!
The dry cleaning was ok, but the service was very poor. The worker (short guy with an attitude) tried very hard to act nonchalantly but it was clear he was compensating for something. He also charged me about $120, but the other dry cleaner down the street charged only $50 for the exact same service. I gave very specific instructions (dry clean a suit, press another, dry clean shirts), but when I asked him to repeat back the instructions before I left, he couldn’t, which demonstrates that they probably would’ve done the same service for all of the clothes but charge different prices for each.
I have talked to two other people that used their services, and they both had terrible experiences. In particular, the other two people also were overcharged and the staff was similarly rude to them. The 5-star reviews are not genuine because this place gives discounts if you write a good review before you get the service. Notice how they suspiciously tried to offset my 1 star review with two 5-star ones written in the same dialect/tone lol. They also don’t give student discounts despite clearly advertising they do (check the other reviews below substantiating this) — the two people I’ve spoken to also requested student discounts but did not receive any.
He will probably respond to this claiming this review is fake, but feel free to message me and I will provide all the receipts and photos to substantiate my claim. Do not go here!!
EDIT: in response to their response: they claim their prices are “pretty fair” compared to other stores, but in another review claim they are the cheapest. Which one is it? I suggest the cleaner figure that out before unilaterally bashing negative reviews. They also claim they write down everything, but they did not provide me with any proof that I received service. And — once again — they falsely claim to give out student discounts. You can either trust the words of a self-interested business, or the words of many reviewers (like myself) that provide consistent narratives of the negative experiences at this cleaner. Lastly, there is no “young man” — just a middle aged short one who has an attitude.
Do yourself a favor and do not go here, but walk 2 minutes down the street to the other significantly better dry cleaner.
