When I tried self checkout, One of the items was missing a barcode. The first person who tried to help me said I could have it for 1199 even though it was marked &4.99 on the rack so I started to cancel the sale and started all over again, and I tried to use a voucher which it said was invalid, which nobody could help me with. They said it was that I had done something wrong, put in the wrong account or something like that which of course I hadn’t. People were rude unhelpful unpleasant and I guess I won’t go back. Ever

As a company critic, been to this location of Michael’s many times. Right before I enter, there always something wrong with how to enter, like the escalator not working (from either direction).
No employees have asked if I need any help.
The way to check out is a machine system, not many times there would be more than two employees checking customers out. There have been times there were no either reusable bags or even a bag to use for customers. I was frustrated with that involvement.
Music does play inside too, songs we would recognize.
Many items have been on sale which is great to see.

Employee locked the door in my face 15 minutes before close, then turned and walked away. Waited for someone to let me in as they were leaving and was able to get my 3 pieces of paper and be out 8 minutes before close.

James at the Porter Square location was so lovely and helpful! I needed help with picture framing, and they were super patient and accommodating with my process. They also gave excellent advice and explanations of my options. Shoutout James!

We had a great experience framing a print here. James was really helpful with the process, and he helped us choose a frame and mat combo that complement the piece perfectly. The quality of the work is great, and it was far less expensive than the other framer we tried. We’ll definitely be back next time we need framing!
