I had an old beat up poster from college and could not bear to throw it away - Emily at the frame shop carefully removed all the tape and mounted it on foam board and now it’s good as new! 10/10 would do again

Second unpleasant experience I've had with their framing department in less than a year. Kicking myself for even going back. Customer service rep, Michael, could not have been more uninterested in helping me. It was as if he was upset that I had disrupted what he was doing. Zero eye contact or greeting, and he told me "this will take 3 weeks and cost a minimum of $150" before even providing recommendations as to what I should be looking for in terms of frame size and glass. I have no idea where Michael's finds these people, but they need to be far more judicious in selecting individuals who actually want to work in customer service. Never steeping foot in one of their stores again. Overpriced and customer service (lack thereof) is an abomination.

Eve one of the service team members was such a great help this was my first time at this Michael's location. She helped me locate every item that I needed. If your in the Cambridge location look for Eve she will have you out of that store in no time!

My only problem is they don't have much staff to help. Literally have to walk around searching for an associate which there is usually only 1 on the floor. She was very helpful but also didn't know what and where items were that I asked about.

Everything is always out of stock. It looks like a store that's in its last week of a "going out of business" sale. Today I went in to buy buttons, sequins and beads. Buttons: the entire section was empty hooks. Beads: entirely out of size 10/0 in all colors. Sequins: I couldn't even find them, nor could the single employee that was on the floor. It's not just today. Every time I go in, whatever I came for is out of stock. I want to buy at brick-and-mortar, but it's starting to feel like visiting this Michael's is a waste of time. I always end up going home and buying it on Amazon anyway.
