Sold me a custom built pc but they did not check to see that the components worked properly. I discovered that my motherboard had a dead m.2 slot only for them to tell me it isn’t u see warranty and try and sell me a new one. What scam artists should have been checked that all ports functioned during the initial build.

Always lots of sales people around to help. They’re not too pushy so I take it as a positive versus some stores where they ignore you. Nice that you can hit Trader Joe’s on the way out.

I can’t even walk around in the store and browse what they have in selections without getting bombarded with 6 to 7 different sales reps walking up to me. Give me a second to look around if I can’t find something I will walk up to you and ask you for your help. I don’t need to be harassed if I understand you you guys want to sell God sake stop harassing people every single second.

I can’t even begin to express my satisfaction with Microcenter. I really thought I was the CEO for a while with how well I was being treated and genuine friendliness and attentiveness of the entire staff. I wanted a custom build and knew what I wanted going in. I was quickly greeted and a shopping list put together. I ended up with a few extras and upgrades that I’m glad I went with.Before I was even done swiping the card - Yonas Hailemariam coordinated the parts brought out back for building. I was quoted 3 hours and final build time clocked in at around 1.5 hours. The entire experience was wonderful and I couldn’t recommend Microcenter enough! Thank you all for the stellar service and I’ll definitely be back. To anyone thinking ANYTHING about builds or computers or anything - drive to Cambridge and see these folks! THANK YOU!!

I’ve been going here for 25 years - this place is the BEST. They have everything you need from a computer hardware standpoint. The staff is always great and super helpful. They don’t make places like this anymore!

10/10 5/5 Don't waste your time on Amazon, Best Buy, or elsewhere! Micro Center has the BEST customer service with far superior technical knowledge.Most recently, my wife and I bought a new TV and had a terrific experience. Connor in the TV section was EXCELLENT. We initially came in a few months prior and explained we were thinking about TV's but not there to make a purchase and were just asking questions and gaining information. Connor was patient, professional, and has an immensely deep technical knowledge of all things TV's (OLED, QLED, & other considerations), sizing, speaker options, and general tech. We came back a few months later and purchased a new Samsung TV at a rock bottom price with a 3-year warranty as well as an adapter for our VCR/DVD player as well. We will be coming back in the future for all our tech needs. Micro Center's team in general has phenomenal customer service and they are immensely knowledgeable of everything from phones to chargers to computers to TV's. Don't waste your time, money, or resources going anywhere else.

Microcenter is a tech lover's paradise with unbeatable sales and customer support! If you're seeking expert advice, Ricardo in sales and Ryan on the tech/build team are the go-to gurus who never disappoint. While peak hours can get a bit hectic, making it harder to find immediate support, it's totally worth the wait for their top-notch assistance. Just be aware that service wait times may also be longer during busy periods. For any and all computer needs, sprint to Microcenter—it's the ultimate nerd haven you’ve been dreaming of! P.S. They built me a gaming PC that not only saved me money but also got me exactly what I needed!

Shopping, inventory, staff knowledge - 5/5 - I will always recommend MicroCenter for purchasing computer hardware.The reason this is 1/5 stars is specifically because their repair desk was either completely incompetent, or a scam. Here's a quick summary:Problem: I had an out-of-warranty Asus Zephyr G-15 Laptop. Some keys on the keyboard were failing, and it needed to be replaced. The way the laptop is manufactured, replacing the keyboard is a PITA.1. Drop laptop off at MicroCenter. Say EXPLICLTY "Some keys on the keyboard are failing, I need the keyboard replaced. No other damage, no other problems. I just need the keyboard replaced."2. Wait two weeks, get this response. Direct quote:"Hello, this is Microcenter contacting you regarding the unit that you have with us. So the only place I have found liquid damage on this machine is the motherboard however the cost to repair this machine will be 1444.99+tax Please let me know what you would like to do"No mention of the actual problem. No mention of the actual solution. Nothing helpful.3. After some texting back and forth, they said they were not able to buy a replacement keyboard, and it would have to be purchased through third-party resellers.4. Angrily retrieve the laptop. Buy a $20 replacement keyboard off of Newegg, buy a $90 ifixit kit to safely open the laptop. Replaced the keyboard. It works now.Awful. Just awful repair desk experience. Unless your laptop repairs are 110% under warranty, do NOT bring it here.

I went with my friend to return a faulty product that was half the price online. They claim to price match and have a good return policy but it’s a lie. ONLY GO HERE IF YOU KNOW YOU WONT BE RETURNING THE ITEM.The blonde woman working today 5/15/24 was not helpful at all. She didn’t even try to look up my credit card or product I purchased
