Excellent service at Mid Cambridge Alterations. I come here for all of my dry cleaning and alterations, and the work is always fast and impeccable, even when I say it’s not urgent. Convenient location, expert craft. Highly recommend!

Dropped off my merino wool Canada Goose beanie here and it came back incredibly rough and starchy. The fabric is ruined but the owners seem to think that’s not an issue because it no longer has stains.

I needed to have a bridesmaids dress hemmed and chose to give this place a try thanks to the great Yelp reviews. I had a seamless (pun intended) experience and would definitely come back! It was a pretty simple hem, but the tailor gave me some great advice on exactly how long it should be in the front and back and the final product was the perfect length. When I dropped it off, he warned me that it's their busy season but ensured he could get it done in the three week deadline I provided. In the end, it only took a week which was a nice surprise! The cost was $70 which was fair in my experience around Boston. Heads up that parking near the shop is a bit tricky without a Cambridge parking permit, but there are a few metered spots nearby if you get lucky. It's totally worth it in the end though, so like I said, I would totally come back again the next time I need some alterations.

Subi is fair and kind. He sometimes gets stressed by the amount of pieces he has to finish in such a short amount of time, but he has consistently finished my pieces way before deadline! He does great work with any fabric you give him. Highly recommend

Fast and high quality! I brought in two suit pants for hemming and two suits for dry cleaning - they were ready the next day and looked exactly as I had hoped. The owner was very friendly. It cost $18.50 to dry clean each suit, and $20 to hem each of the suit pants. It was cash only.
