Entrance free of charge. Architecturally sublime. Kind and gentle staff, feel free to ask them about the works exhibited. (If you have the luck to meet Selby Nimrod please honor the presence). Concise yet very nurturing. Indoor exhibitions are mainly composed of 2 selections and a small library/reading lobby. Outdoor exhibition is largely composed by many traditional forms of art that are scattered around the blocks (use the map provided inside to explore these, bet it's more enjoyable during summer) . Compared with the main MIT museum I found this experience closer to the current topics of interests that the artistic researches are facing on the new media lab (this is just a personal guess and opinion).

I attended a Nucleate event and it was catered by some of the finest Mediterranean food I've ever had. One of the servers even took my colleague's empty Starbucks cup to trash, demonstrating that true MIT above and beyond spirit.

Was enjoyed a Sung Tieu show at the List recently (Wednesday April 5th 2023), - it’s quite beautiful and moving. My thought was that the work didn’t elicit a feeling of isolation - the effect (mostly due to dark ambient music) was pensive, yes, but the space was also quite open. See pictures. The List desk lady told me dismissively that I didn’t understand the work (and couldn’t) because I wasn’t a refugee or seeking asylum. I’m not seeing a whole lot of people seeking asylum here, and quite certain nobody would “get” this work if it didn’t have an essay explaining it. The place is like that these days.

While the building is massive & modern and the admission is free, there's barely anything to see inside with a few smaller rooms scattered through the corridor. The current exhibition "Symbionts: Contemporary Artists and the Biosphere" was not impressive

The space is really nice but This place is barely functioning. They call it bio art but all I see is sand on the ground and vomit on the windows. This place must be a money laundering or tax haven loophole cos I see nothing. Word around the campfire says it was funded by bill gates and Jeffrey Epstein. 2 stars cos it’s free.
