I consider it one of the best bookstores in the region. It's worth visiting and before going down, stop at the cafe on the ground floor for a nice cappuccino.

Great bookstore. We visited after going to the MIT museum. Nice variety of books and a section of books authored by MIT professors. There is a large section of books published by MIT Press called "Essential Knowledge Series" on a wide variety of important topics. Cozy kids section with lots of books.

Staff friendly. Disappointed. Was expecting better book selection.

This bookstore focuses books published by MIT press and curated titles. It’s a “smart people bookstore,” with books that make you think and learn. The shop is down in a basement and I got lost in reading the backs of books, time marked only by the overhead rumble of the red line. The books here are niche enough that there are only occasionally copies at the local libraries, so I do end up spending money here rather than getting it at the library. There’s also a kids book section that has some excellent variety: I can do all my holiday shopping between this bookstore and the MIT Museum gift shop upstairs.

Great experience. We were able to get some amazing books for our library in Jamaica at Western STEM Academy. Thank you for having us.

This is a really neat bookstore to go into. It is right off the Red Line stop at Kendall/MIT station. It is next to the museum too. It is a really cool shop to walk around and they separate their books by field (physiology, biology, etc). They did have some strange hours and the two staff members working felt very judge mental. They watched us like a hawk and listened in on our conversations.

Great new location with an amazing selection of technical books including some great ones not from MIT press, but obviously the MIT press books are themselves a huge part of the appeal. Really nice new spot, I wish this bookstore was nearer to where I live, it's so wonderful.

A sleek, modern bookstore with a great selection of titles. Well beyond MIT Press own published books, the shop offers books by many more publishers and some obscure ones too.The design + architecture section is fantastic. I was able to find books on Finn Juhl and Poul Kjaerholm that are no longer available anywhere else. There are cozy nooks to sit and flip through the books and there's a restroom upstairs in the same building.

The people who work here are super helpful and friendly. The stock is interesting and will appeal to those interested in technology and society. There is a children's collection and a little nook for kids to play in

Nice store with MIT Press and a thoughtful selection of other books. Very nice architecture section. Kids room seems very good too. Thinner on philosophy than older versions of this store, though and I'd like to see more bargains. In very nice new(ish) location right at the Kendall T.
