Tammy, the owner, is very professional and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. The vibe in the studio is friendly, fun and humorous. I always go in and Tammy knows exactly what to do with my hair. I get a balayage treatment, highlights & low lights. If you're looking for a hair salon that feels similar to your favorite restaurant or bar- consistent, friendly and fun. (Think 'Cheers' but hair salon.) You should definitely pay a visit to MK hair studio.

The stylist chopped about three times as much hair off than we agreed. 4 vs. 12 inches. I will have shorter hair than I wanted for a long time... I love my hair when it's long but it takes a long time to carefully grow healthy length. I wish the stylist had been more careful to cut how we agreed, and it didn't seem like she really paid attention the whole time. The haircut ended up looking okay in general, but it is uneven--not a high quality haircut. I don't recommend this place. It was a bad experience overall

Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed before now, but MK studio has been great for me! Ashlee has helped me through repairing box dye, cutting my hair so I can keep it looking nice even when I had zero energy, and trying out new color options. And Tammy did my wedding hair! Everybody is great and it feels like you’re at home.

Ashlee styled my hair for my wedding day on site at the ceremony location. My wedding was at the beginning of August when temperatures were in the 100's for days so I was very worried about how my hair style would hold up for the ceremony and photos. On the wedding day it was in the high 90's with high humidity and rain so Ashlee advised me to go with an elegant updo. She did an amazing job with what I envisioned for an updo that would go well with my makeup and wedding dress. The hair style held up all day and night (which I did not expect!). My hairstyle stayed intact through bridal photos in the rain and even dancing at the reception. Thank you Ashlee for glamming me up and helping me feel my best on my wedding day!

Ashlee is incredible! She worked an absolute miracle on hair that had been hacked at by an inexperienced stylist at a budget chain. She's so sweet and personable, my nerves melted away as soon as I sat down. She did a beautiful job and I have never been happier with a haircut. Ashlee is amazing! I got my hair cut by her and she did a great job, I can't wait to go back. The staff are so incredibly nice and fun, I had a great time! I normally get pretty nervous going to new places to get my hair done, but I had a great experience. The prices are extremely fair here too! Highly recommend.
