My double stroller wheel broke off and I had no idea what parts to fix it. Its my main transportation for my twins. I brought it in and Andrew figured out a clip was stuck in there. He removed it and installed the new one. He spent some time fixing it in the middle of the store. The cost was 23 cents. Exceptional customer service that goes the extra mile!

Don’t recommend. I usually love my local hardware store, but unfortunately my experience at this one hasn’t been great. Since moving to Central Square, I’ve tried to make this my go-to spot, but the staff isn’t knowledgeable about hardware at all.. which I can live with even though it’s strange. what’s especially frustrating is how unhelpful and unfriendly they are when you ask questions. I’ve felt brushed off more than once. The overall vibe from the employees is that they hate their jobs, especially from the manager. I really want to love this place, but it’s been disappointing so far. At this point, I’d rather just take the time and go to a further away hardware store

Getting to speak with only, as it turns out, the manager, I had an almost perfect visit there! A small item was surprisingly secured and her key therefore needed her momentary using, but that was my only bit of inconvenience. I first picked up something that I had ordered online, then got that bit of help from her in getting the second item into my basket, then had several keys nicely duplicated by her, and finally found it quick and easy to pay for my purchases with a little card tap on the generally nicely functioning payment device (of which the non-functioning of the chip reader did not slow me down): the kind of device that regularly gives me headaches, so to speak. That was my first ever of what will be a goodly number of visits if I can help it!

Very glad to have this smaller store nearby to grab things big and small. Yes, like others said the customer service could be friendlier, but most of the time the place is helpful!

Nice has lots of items. Most employees are great but then you get one self righteous contrarian (the person who dresses very colorfully) who has snark for everyone. Chile please go touch grass!

I dropped off one small window screen that was torn and was told that they have to send it out because they don’t actually do the work here. It would take under two weeks. I call two weeks later and they don’t really know when they’ll have it. They said maybe in a couple days on Monday, but maybe Tuesday, but maybe…
They also offered I go look for it where they sent it. So there’s actually no point in going to this store to begin with.

After breaking my key, I had them make more copies of the original I still had. All three keys they made for me worked perfectly. Much cheaper than KeyMe.
