The wine selection is really hard to understand. Employees seem to have no idea about making suggestions and hardly know where to find easy wine regions. I suggest only going here if you are in a pinch. Otherwise walk ten min to a different shop.

What was once a gem of a store is now a dumpster fire. The previous wine director had such a great selection of wines that were distinct, great prices and very good. The selection was organized, easy to find items and there was something new to discover each week. Now the new regime promotes supermarket wine you can find anywhere. The organization makes absolutely no sense and its just not as fun anymore. Never thought I'd see a small store act like a Total Wine. What a disappointment it has become. Check out Pemberton down the street, much better selection and prices.

The male employee was extremely rude and unprofessional. If he owns this place, he needs a refresher in customer relations. I asked another employee if they sold Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc and she said no so I asked if she knew to suggest something similar. The male employee then chimed in and told me to do “a quick google search to find something similar.” When I asked him if he seriously suggested I go through every Sauv blanc to google and compare he had nothing to say but proceeded to tell me on my way out to do a google search before I go in next time. He clearly didn’t care for the business so I’ll be taking it elsewhere.

You should know about wines if you go to this store. I'm not a big wine person but I was buying some for dinner with friends. I asked about Bourbon Barrel, aged Zinfandel, and the short woman with glasses, and two buns said we don't carry that. I had to interrupt her conversation with the other clerk to ask the question. I then had to ask where the Zinfandels were. She pointed them out and went back to her conversation... I would have loved for someone to ask me what I was looking for and help me find it. But, maybe the clerks are just there to take money and aren't knowledgeable about wine.

Good wine choices but rude staff! Confrontational, arrogant and just an awful experience all around! Sometimes the best part of shopping is enjoying talking to the person that works there and forget this place! The attitude is as though the customer is annoying and the employee is holier than thou! I don't care how much you know about wine there are certain ways to treat people in a humane polite way and whoever this guy was he needs to learn common decency and kindness! He must be a very unhappy person to treat others the way he does!

Meh selection and wouldn't let my friend buy anything because I didn't have my ID on me, even though I wasn't buying anything and we are both clearly over 21

Inhospitable. Why not ask if I needed help or recommendations if I took so long or seemed a nuisance? That’s the best way to get someone on their way.(*And to make a sale; I was looking for a vegan white wine from a unique place)Thanks to you I felt alienated and didn’t splurge on something fun or higher end.

Decent selection given store size, beer select could be better. Expensive prices, higher than normal. Typically unfriendly staff (ex/ guy today literally said no words to me despite my best efforts).

This is my local store so I end up here sometimes, but I prefer not to. The wine and liquor are very expensive, more so than Pemberton or Ball Sq, even for the same items. There aren't many wines for less than $18. The beer selection is bad.

A very adequate local wine and liquor shop. They have all the basics and the staff are plentiful and helpful. A fifth star because they have Georgian wine here! Expensive but a decent little selection. Such a surprise!

One of the most diverse liquor selections in the area. Not a great place for cheap beer, but perfect to stock your cocktail bar.

The variety of stuff was good. Customer service not the best, the young woman with the curly hair was extremely rude and should not be in retail.

Fine selection of alcohol, especially spirits. However, one of the employees was so unpleasant and rude that I will not be coming back here. He was condescending and aggressive. Also be aware they will card every single in your party regardless of if they are purchasing anything. This is totally fine and I understand it, but since it is so uncommon I would expect them to be a little more upfront about it instead of acting like we are burdening them or trying to buy underage when we asked for clarification about who had to be carded. Overall the experience felt very condescending and was not worth it considering there are other liquor stores nearby

Has more or less the bare essentials, with a few important products missing. One of the more expensive liquor stores in the neighborhood. The owner is unhelpful, too; and in some cases they have been rude to people I know in town. Plenty of options elsewhere.
