Great experience. I can't remember my stylist name but she was amazing. Went from long to short and she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. It was perfect. Plus she was super accommodating and nice. Really recommend this salon and will be back.Service: Haircut

Loved it! Sandra was amazing, very professional and hair color turned out exactly like I wanted. I didn't feel like being rushed and my hair was not burned as it usually happened in other salons. Very pleasant experience overall.Service: Hair coloring

Tracy is so sweet and kind, I told her about my bad hair color situation from another salon. She asked me what I was looking for spent time on the service, and overall was super helpful. I would definitely come back here again and book another service with her.Services: Hair glossing

They always do a great job. Have been coming here for the past three haircuts. Very efficient--doesn't take forever like other places.

Competent stylists. But the last time I went the toner did absolutely nothing to my hair. I went back to have it fixed and still it didn’t work. It’s as if they forgot to mix the developer in with the toner. I ended up buying some boxed toner off Amazon and fixed it myself.

It was easy to book an appointment and staff were very friendly. But my haircut was awful. The stylist, Dario, was extremely nice, but late to meet me and too hurried to even look at my hair before beginning. He seemed rushed to get my hair washed before hastily asking how I wanted my hair styled. I asked for (1) my hair to be cut *just* long enough to pull it back, and (2) for it to be thinned since I have very thick and wavy hair. I'm not picky about my haircuts and have always been happy with whatever cut the stylist chooses within those two bounds. I assumed this would go similarly. After washing, Dario parted my hair on the opposite side from how I always wear it and started cutting. I didn't think much of it, since often stylists have moved my part around to get an even cut for any part. But he never moved it. When he had cut straight along the bottom all around, he went to dry my hair and I paused to ask if we could take some of the weight out. (My hair looks like a triangle if it's not thinned.) He said of course and proceeded to use thinning scissors only along the bottom of my hair. He started to blowdry my hair, and I asked him if he could move the part to where I keep it. He did and then cut some of the long strands to "correct" it. As it started to dry, he was surprised to see that it was wavy! Before he finished, I expressed my concern that my hair still felt really thick and long, and he dismissed it saying that blowdrying makes it feel thicker. I payed, tipped, and left, wondering how this could have gone so much worse than every other haircut I've ever had at a salon. In the end, my hair looks almost exactly as it did before I got it cut, just more uneven and poofier. It's still below my shoulders and extremely thick. And I'm out $80 and looking desperately for another salon to go get it fixed. I could have gotten a similar cut at Great Clips. I'm really disappointed I can't give a better review for this salon.Service: Hairstyling

Dario was fantastic. I have curly hair and have had some major nightmare haircuts lately. I was super nervous going in. He listened to me, looked at some pictures I had and made me feel comfortable. He did a fabulous job and corrected the hack jobs from previous people! I will definitely be back!

After being a loyal client of Salon Luna for 28 years, a disturbing experience with the owner has made it impossible for me to go there anymore. It started simply with me asking about their not following CDC/City advisories recommending masks. He didn’t seem to understand – he even said he was not allowed to require masks (which isn’t true – and the other salons in the neighborhood require masks – but his policy did not even “recommend” them). He acted like a bully, loudly ta

I wanted to cover the grey on my roots, tone down the red in my hair, and get a few highlights around my face. I have auburn hair, and wanted a root color and toner that was more on the brown side. I left the salon with bright red hair and no highlights around my face (just a few in the back of my hair). I was upset with the color and came back to have it corrected. The stylist was quite rude at the beginning and applied a darker color to my roots and more highlights around the front. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but she got dye all over my scalp and in my eye. I actually left the salon with a bunch of dye stains still around my hairline. My scalp was burning after this visit, but I didn't think too much of it as I'd just had it dyed twice in a short time span. But that evening I couldn't sleep at it was burning so bad and I started developing a rash on my scalp, ears and face. I had to go to the doctor and get steroids to bring down the allergic reaction. I'm still having burns and rashes on my face and having to apply steroid creams. My husband finally called the salon to express what happened and see if they had any advice. They said this has happened a few times so I'm wondering if it's this stylists' approach to applying color on the skin or the fact that no one suggested doing a patch test or anything (this was the 2nd time I've ever dyed my hair.. I had highlights a few years ago, which I told the stylist)... I think a patch test would have been merited. In any case, they were dismissive and suggested that it could be something else causing the allergic reaction on my scalp and face, which is ridiculous. The doctor said it's common to be allergic to hair dye, especially darker colors and they should have tested first. There was nothing offered to help, no money back, no ingredients list, no advice. Worst salon experience I've ever had and a huge regret!! I highly recommend going to a salon that has more care for your well-being

Overall good experience in the salon, my hair cut was fine, though they cut too much off (this seems to be a trend with experienced stylists.) It didn't really feel worth the price.
