There are no more COVID restrictions besides requiring vaccination for people who want to take the mask off. However, the gym opens 8 am on weekdays and 9 am - 1 pm on weekends. Who goes to gym that late? I paid a lot of money to go to this gym pre-COVID and I have to wait around until 8 am and 9 am. If the owners want to save money, they should open 6-10 am and 5-9 pm or something like that to accommodate people who work. Seriously considering moving to another gym because it interferes with my work schedule so much.

The club posts signs asking members to wear masks. When I pointed out to the staff member at the desk (Nov. 12, at noon) that someone was using a treadmill without a mask, and had been doing so for at least 30 minutes, her response was: "Oh." When I looked into the club 10 minutes later, the person on the treadmill was still maskless and the staffer was still eating her lunch. My VIM membership runs through next Spring and I've generally had good experiences. But I've stayed away during the Covid crisis and this was my attempt to go back. If I can't make use of the club because I don't feel safe, the remaining part of my membership is a waste of money.

Stay far away from this place it is very dirty and the egotistical Pilates instructor Sharon is awful. There are many other great boutique gyms and pilates studios in Boston don't waste your money here!

I want there Couple of times and I like the whole step up of the workout machine & they have Two and more Squats racks. The price is alil bit to high but, Overall the gym is great the vibe you get in this gym you won't get it on the other gym. That's my opinion!

I recently joined and really like this gym! The classes are excellent - especially all of Azure's classes! The facilities are clean and I've never had to wait for an aerobic machine (sometimes for weights, but not long). Also, they have an amazing app that makes it possible to book classes. Not yet 5 stars for me because I find the women's locker room to be a bit of a mess during busy hours and classes can be a bit crowded, but I still think this gym is great.

Four stars only bc of the price (depends on your subscription type which you can see online usually at least $70 a month, whereas I'm used to $25 crunch fitnesses in NJ). Other than that, it's a great gym. Location is pretty much right across the street from the T so it's very convenient to get to. Right next door is the h mart so it's nice to get a workout in, then grab groceries afterwards. When I signed up, I just signed up and walked into the breach, no manager or anything to show me around the facilities etc but all I was looking for was a free weight area and multiple squat racks, which there are four of. Thankfully said free weight area is usually not crowded even during rush hour times and a little before (4pm) is pretty much inhabited by less than 10 people total which is great. They have both bumper plates as well as the blocky octagonal plates and a decent variety of machines. There's a big area for ellipticals and treadmills, never seem it full. Though they lack a calf machine, pec deck, and anything for the traps (trapezius) if I recall correctly. The locker room isn't too bad, but the area w lockers for personal locks is much smaller than their (I'm guessing) premium area w special lockers that you can't put your own lock on. If you come around 630 or later on a weekday, you might actually be unlucky enough to not get a locker due to the limited number of lockers for a personal lock. All in all I would recommend this gym if you're just looking for a normal gym. Price is kind of steep but from what I've seen, it's probably about the norm for the Boston area.

Great classes and small group size. The instructors are very nice, knowledgable, and classes never overbooked. Glad I found a gym with Pilates & Yoga classes in Cambridge! Just noticed that the temperature in the class room is too cold for yoga!

I was directed to this location by the Le Meridien hotel, and found myself really enjoying it. I hope to return. Benji made me feel welcomed from the start. It is a small but modern facility and is very clean. Perfect gym location coming from my hotel stay. Nice and quiet around 2 p.m.-- I felt like I had the gym to myself.

3.5 stars. This is an excellent gym, one of the best I've ever been to for sure, but as someone who graduated with student loans not too long ago, and isn't working for a company that has a paid partnership with VIM, I really can't justify the price. It's sparkly clean and there's always towels available, but the best part of VIM is that it's never packed. I don't really like the layout since the machines are so close to each other, but since I went during nonpeak hours, it's never bugged me that much. The locker room, however, is way more busy, to the point you may have to wait for one to open up. They have a monthly option on top of annual, so you have options, but both are pricey for those who aren't in the corporate programs. I've joined another nearby gym elsewhere with lower standards, but costing half as much per year. If you want a really exclusive experience, I'd definitely recommend VIM.

I have been a member for a year and I LOVE this place for so many reasons! My favorite reason is their great selection of group classes. Their class schedule is perfect to fit in classes on a work day or on the weekend (there are options 7 days a week, multiple times a day). I have loved all of my group classes and instructors! The locations are SO convenient- one right off the Central T stop (I literally have to walk directly past it to get out of the station), and the other is an easy 5-minute walk up the street. I find their annual membership rate incredibly reasonable, especially compared to some of the other gyms I have been a member of. In summary, great price, great locations, great group classes, and great instructors!

Nice gym, but watch out because your things will be stolen and inflexible membership policies. I used to LOVE this gym. Then I got hurt. There is no option to cancel or defer annual memberships. I wasted $750 this year because I was injured and couldn't cancel my membership. Emails to management weren't returned. The couple times I made it in I had items stolen (brand new sneakers and a bag). When reported, the missing items were shrugged off. Used to be great, now a giant waste if money where things are stolen.

I just cancelled my membership after almost 5 years. There is one major problem with this gym: it employs aggressive, unsafe, and rude fitness professionals, who put their clients and other patrons in unsafe situations. Not all the so-called trainers at this gym are bad, but many are. When it gets crowded in the mornings and after work, it feels like everyone is competing for room to work out. This is not a healthy and happy place to be. One trainer recently barked at his client, "You've got to protect your space," while other patrons were working out near them. There are also many other inconveniences about this gym that make it not worth the money. During peak times, the showers are ice cold. There are frequent floods, leaks, and foul smells from the grocer upstairs. I have had multiple items stolen. The hair dryers are low in quality. The water pressure at the sinks is very low. The lighting in the bathroom is terrible--they keep it dimly lit to make it seem fancy like Equinox, but really they are just putting lipstick on a pig. The bottom line: go somewhere else.

Why does this business have two references to Fallout 4 and Far Harbor?
