About Sanders Theatre
Sanders Theatre is a beautiful venue known for its excellent acoustics and stunning architecture. The atmosphere combines history and a scholarly vibe, making it a fantastic place for jazz concerts and intimate performances. The seating in the balcony offers a good view, although the close spacing can feel tight as guests share shoulders. Many visitors appreciate the warm, all-wood interior and high ceilings adorned with intricate details. While the theater can be busy, especially with students nearby, it remains a beloved spot for enjoying music and shows. Despite the lack of elevators and the need to navigate stairs for upper seating, the experience is often described as mesmerizing and well-organized, making it worth the visit.
Awesome place to see a show. Acoustics sound great and the building is beautiful.

The building is very beautiful. Seating is very close and tight.

Beautiful venue with excellent acoustics. The pitch of the seats in the balcony means you are less likely to have your view blocked. Dinged a star because the seating is very tight. You will literally run shoulders with your neighbors.
