Tudor Dog Park is a neat little dog park tucked into the Tudor Park area, a decent spot for folks living or visiting a little south of Central Square. The park is gravel and packed earth with some grass patches, which doesn't seem to bother the dogs; the grass has been gradually growing year-after-year. It is a good size and open from dawn to dusk. The park provides bowls and a doggie water fountain, though the fountain has sometimes not worked, which can be a bummer for thirsty dogs. After rain, the ground gets really muddy. On-street parking is required if one does not walk. The park is often full of dogs. During prime times, it can have many big dogs, which may be rough and overwhelming for very small dogs. Most owners are responsible, good at recalling their dogs, and respectful of others' space. People are generally nice and interested to meet newcomers. However, there have been isolated incidents where a dog was bitten by another and where a dog walker did not control their multiple dogs. Still, the park is well-regarded, described as great to have in the neighborhood and loved by many.
