This location is incredibly unorganized, undertrained and unprofessional. All the prices on the sales floor are wrong and the employees refuse to honor their pricing accuracy guarantee. Walgreens has had to pay out settlements for this shady practice and unethical behavior in the past so it doesn’t surprise me. Tired of coming here and being falsely advertised a misleading price. Learn how to do your job and stop deceiving your customers.To customers, I highly suggest you go to the CVS across the street. Unlike Walgreens, that CVS has never tried to scam in all the times I’ve been there.

Checkouts and photo booths are never staffed. Told me they didn't have envelopes for my christmas cards when I ordered them, and didn't seem to understand what I meant by "envelopes" when I tried to describe them. Staff was cursing under their breath the entire time I was working with them. Phones were ringing and left unanswered. This place sucks.

I’ve never left a negative review but do not get your passport photo taken here— the worker was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. She left after I pointed out a concern about the way the photos were being cut (my face off to one side instead of being centered) and she tried to resolve it after I explained what my concern was multiple times. Then, she insisted that there was nothing that could be done because I needed 2 copies of the photo (which isn’t true, you only need 1 copy for a passport application). She left while I was mid-sentence and said she “had other things to do”

10/21/2023, approximately 10PM:The manager, Carlos, yelled at me and refused to honor my Walgreens Cash Rewards, gave me false information that I must spend $40 in order to access my Walgreens Cash Rewards, and verbally abused me.Walgreens, I suggest you run an investigation into this location's manager, and especially review the security footage of the register during this evening.You will likely find that this manager ruins your brand reputation.

Horrible customer service. I just spent 20 minutes on hold only to have someone from the pharmacy hang up on me. Do Not use this pharmacy.

So horrible. On the phone with them and they keep putting me on hold, letting it finally go through, only to put me back on hold. I can hear them lifting the phone and putting it down. What horrible service in the pharmacy.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. All workers I have dealt with are rude and move so slowly. I avoid going in this store any chance I can.

I've come here many times in my 12 years living in Central Square. Pharmacy and pharmacists have always been great, in my experience. For everything else, you're better off going to CVS across the street. Store is always understaffed and usually only one register is open. Not sure why Walgreens has not embraced self-checkout.

If only I could give negative star reviews. Never have been to a pharmacy with a prescription order sent 1 hour in advance and still have to wait half a day before the prescription is even "being verified". The medications are very common NSAIDs/pain-relief and anti-bacterial meds and should not take that long normally. Calling does not help because they do not answer any calls. Go to CVS instead..

The woman works here was following me around the store. Someone asked were something was she said down there. She was rude impolite. I went to cvs instead.

Horrible! Horrible service and lack of employees to meet customers needs. Their pharmacy is simply closed on the weekends. Not sure how a national chain can screw up so badly by not staffing one of the busiest areas of MA. I feel sorry for the employees who work here. Turn over is very high.

Never had I been treated so rudely or badly by any person or establishment until i encountered this place. They hung up on me out of the blue and for no good reason at least 10 times, a few times before I could even say a word. Not sure how they stay in business. I did an online order for cold meds for my kid who is attending college in Massachusetts. My daughter is sick and an item or two I purchased required an I.D. Check but the order arrived so early that she didn't hear them and missed the delivery. I was going to reorder but decided to first check with the store to see whether the order could be re-delivered (for an additional fee) or if it had already been canceled. And this is where my ordeal with the employees in this store began. After a significant wait on the phone, a heavily accented woman answered and I told her I had placed an online order. She immediately told me 'we dont do online order, come pickup". And then she hung up on me. I called back and after another extensive wait got the same person and she said pick it up, to which I said I cant because I'm in California. She immediately hung up on me again. I called back several more times and when I asked for a manager or to speak to someone else, she hung up on me right away. I called back again and thankfully, a young man answered who spoke English. I told him that I wanted to know the status of my order and to speak to a manager and after a little wait, he got someone else to assist me. Another lady with an accent, not as strong as the first lady's, asked for the information and went to check. She came back and I could hear her tell the young man that she didn't see the order. I asked him if I could speak to her again because I wanted to tell her about the woman who had hung on me so many times. He said, why don't you call back in 30 minutes. I paused to get ready to ask her name and the young man hung up on me. I called back and the young man answered and I asked him why he had hung up on me. He said, because I told you to call back in 30 minutes. I asked for the manager's name and he said Joann. Another lady, without an accent, got on the phone and I asked if she was Joann and she said that Joanne doesn't work on Saturdays or Sundays so call back during the week. I said never mind, I will just do a review or call corporate. I placed another online order and it said it would be delivered by 4pm, which was 1.5 hours away. I texted my daughter and she was going to be on the lookout. When 4pm came and went, I googled and found how to check the status online. It said CANCELLED. I called my daughter and asked if she had received a cancellation notice. She said no, she had just received a notice that they were working on the order and would email with any updates, changes or notifications. She had received nothing else. Very shady. I called the store and after considerable wait again, got the young man. He told me the order was canceled because maybe they didn't have it. I asked if he could tell me was what was unavailable because the site showed what stuff was in stock and so I could choose something else. He said, "We cant do that". Do what? I asked do what? He hung up on me. When you order online, you can tell the system to substitute for same brand different amount, or similar item. I enabled all of the substitutions. The online system also said that there could be changes in the final amount if items were unavailable or substitutions were made. This store, however, canceled the entire order, probably out of incompetence or maybe just plain spite. No compassion there for a sick kid far from home with no transportation who just needed some medicine. I found another place to do what this Walgreens couldn't, or wouldn't do. Not only that, but despite that I was never rude to them, they canceled my daughter's order for meds for some unknown reason. I have never dealt with such incompetent and rude people before. Older store, set up of aisles and pharmacy is kind of awkward. They don't carry a lot of certain items that most other Walgreens do. Example: no prepaid cell phones+, etc.Needs updating and more easily navigated aisles and pharmacy
