I went to this location to pick up my prescriptions, which showed to be ready since yesterday on the Walgreens App. I was using a prescription discount card, which I had told them at time of check out and had the card pulled up on my phone when I was called to the counter. The pharmacist kept sliding other patients meds under the barcode scanner while the person at the register was trying to enter the codes. She did this 2-3 times during the transaction, which took 20 minutes total. For my second prescription, I provided the discount code and she responded what? $49 isn't good enough?" Then when they handed me my meds, I saw the city, state, and zip code were incorrect. I pointed that out and asked them to change it, stating I had never lived in that city and state and it must have been messed up by them scanning multiple other people's meds on my profile. I politely asked they change it back to my correct address. The pharmacist then said "it's 7:15. We close at 7." I explained I know that, but my address wasn't incorrect the last time I filled prescriptions, and I'mnot adding a new address, but requesting they fix the erroneous address I've never lived at that was never on my profile until today. After 20 minutes I left with my 2 meds and hopefully the correct address in their system. The 20 minutes doesn't include waiting in line time. It's only the time I stood at the pharmacy counter after being called for my turn. It was definitely more of a headache than it was worth getting my meds filled here. The location I normally used closed permanently, and this is my first experience here. But underwhelmed is an understatement.

I have been having trouble for months getting two of my much needed prescriptions filled. My Dr. Switched them here. Allison didn't have a problem filling either one. Today was my second time without a problem. The other Walgreens, two of them that I used to use was nothing but lied to because of their own incompetence. I can't say enough about Allison except she is the best pharmacist ever!

I had a somewhat complicated situation, and yet the Walgreens pharmacy got the job done with professionalism and a smile. I don't know what I would have done without them. They're awesome

Allison in the pharmacy is amazing. She's helpful and friendly when picking up prescriptions and is amazing at giving vaccine shots, including to my kids. I literally never write yelp reviews but every time I interact with her I feel like I want to let everyone know how great she is (particularly because it seems like she has a really hard job).

I visited Walgreens to pick up medication at the pharmacy department, whose staff is so kind and always willing to help. For this reason, I have to rate my visit a 2/10 for their appreciable service. My frustration is due to the price of the deodorant I also bought at the same time. I only realized on my digital receipt that the deodorant (NATIVE Lilac & White Tea) cost me $18.99 while it is advertised to cost $13.99 on this exact store's website. Selling items that do not reflect the publicized price is a deplorable farce and jacking up a price by close to half its value is simply a scam and a disastrous business practice. I feel clowned by this bent foolery and it certainly leaves me wondering what other perverse systems this brand relies on to be capitally ranked the second-leading institution in this pharmaceutical distribution industry. I gave CS a call and the representative told me that sometimes prices go up and they don't make them; in brief, she couldn't do anything for me. Please see the pictures of the website's price vs the store-paid price.

Very good Wallgreens. I switched my prescriptions to here, from CVS and the cost savings astounded me....Very good service at the pharmacy, almost no wait, not even for Covid booster, shingles, flu shots....I definitely recommend this place

Unlike some of the large Walgreens in suburbia, this one is more of a urban neighborhood pharmacy that still has a lot of the different departments like groceries, health and beauty, paper goods, etc.The inside of the store was a bit smaller than some of the other ones I have been to, but the staff putting stuff on the shelves and the lady at the register, were all very pleasant and friendly.I got some stuff for the condo and I paid using my rewards number. I had a few digital coupons and offers that I took advantage of.Good deal...

This review is for the Walgreens near Porter Sq. I had gotten my four "free" COVID tests and realized when I got home that I had been charged. Walgreens charged me $100 for the tests. I went back to the store to get my money back and a) they couldn't let me return the unopened tests, b) they told me to go to my insurance company, c) told me the pharmacy could do nothing, d) apologized profusely but did nothing, The pharmacist went to the assistant manager who went to the manager who did nothing for me without ever coming to talk to me. I wasted my time and I have been cheated out of $100 because of they charged me for tests that we're supposed to be free. There is a CVS nearby at Porter Square. Go there.

Walgreen's - We DON'T try harder. I made the mistake of sending my prescription to this Walgreens. Even though it was called in yesterday, the prescription had not been filled when I went to the pharmacy this afternoon. And the pharmacist took their time filling it as well. As a matter of fact, they let me stand there for several moments, while they were looking at their computer. After several standing there with in silence for an interminable amount of time, I asked if it would be OK if I grabbed a few things and came back. This was OK with the pharmacist. I Needed a new nail file, and was surprised to see That a single nail file in this pharmacy is $9.74. I went back to the pharmacy to see if there were any less expensive nail files in the store. I noticed that my prescription still had not been filled. So I wasted another five minutes looking around the store for alternative sources of reasonably priced nail files and adding more over priced items to my basket. I returned with a few things, fully expecting the pharmacist would check out my six items along with my prescription. To my shock, they refused, saying they were the only one working today, and asked if I could take my items to the front cashier and stand in line there on top of all the waiting I had done in the back. Did I mention that there was nobody anywhere near the pharmacy in all of these many many many minutes that I dealt with this person? In other words, no one else to be imposing on their extremely important time (whereas my time has no value whatsoever).Feeling gouged price-wise and completely disrespected, I then went to the front of the store to a second stand to check out this small basket of items. There was a line at the cashier, most notably a person who was having great difficulty finding a credit card that would cover paying for a pack of gum. By the time I left the store, I had spent $53 buying baggies, two drinks, cookies and coffee. Oh, and a nail file that the store wanted to charge me $9.74 for but I found in other packaging with a nail cutter, cuticle cutter and storage bag (none of which I need!) for $7.50. Mind you, this one nail file I needed would cost me $1.69 in a regular store. On top of all that the pharmacist didn't have enough of my antibiotic in stock so they only partially filled my prescription. So I will be forced to return to this dimly lit, godforsaken extortion pit again on Monday. I'll give the store two stars because the pharmacist was extremely helpful a few months back. I will, however, endeavor to avoid Walgreen's and only come to this one when necessary.

This is NOT your typical Chain drugstore..from the front of the store to the excellent pharmacy personal. This store is what you hope for in a pharmacy..

WORST WALGREENS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Bring back the Rite-Aid, at least they carried everything as suppose to this Walgreen's that is awful, awfully run and one of the employees doesn't even display customer service. Most residents in the neighboring area are displeased with this Walgreens. It has gone downhill.

I was just really pleased by how helpful they were as I got my vaccine. Just super personable and went above and beyond to help with insurance stuff. The facilities are eh, but the people in the pharmacy make up for it.

Excellent neighborhood pharmacy and drugstore. Conveniently located on Mass Ave. It even has a parking lot!
