Windsor provides excellent amenities and features, and the staffs are very kind, friendly, and helpful. The location is also great for me, as it is within walking distance to my work. The rental rate is a bit high in my opinion, but it is still reasonable given that it is located in Cambridge.

This place is amazing and the leasing agents are great especially Miranda. She has been a tremendous help and has been there every step of the way. I loved her attention to details and just the overall experience was a 10/10!!! Already approved and moving in early next month, my wife and I greatly appreciate the fast process and consistency throughout it all. If you’re someone looking for a new home and would like to move here please request to have Miranda as your tour guide , you will not be disappointed!

I have a number of negative comments to make about my living here, but will also include positive feedback afterwards.Multiple issues around the time of moving in:Between the time we expressed interest of moving in and making our hold deposit (less than 24 hr) they had increased the rent price by $200/mo.It did not seem like the apartment was cleaned or even checked for everything to be properly working before move-in.The toilet was not functioning upon move-in. It took nearly a week for it to be properly fixed, and in their lengthy fix of it raked in a $500+ water bill that had to be personally tracked down to be lowered, despite no fault of our own. If we had not caught this ourselves, we would have been out a good chunk of change. The dishwasher was not functioning upon move-in. It was actually quite a hassle of having maintenance come multiple times and basically blame us for the problem. The dishwasher would stop running its water after a few minutes, likely some sort of electrical circuit issue, and dishes would come out just as dirty as they went in. Maintenance insisted that because they could see it sprayed some water, it was actually just our fault for not cleaning the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The soap pod would not even dissolve as a result of it running. It took far too long and we pay far too much to not have a functioning dishwasher in a "luxury" apartment. After a couple weeks of this back and forth, we were able to have a new dishwasher installed. The apartment was not cleaned or checked upon move-in. It almost seemed like a joke as their move-in gift to us was a roll of paper towels and cleaning soap. There was food on cabinet handles, significant grime in the shower and tub, an old nasty and clogged shower head and other instances of the apartment not being cleaned or checked between tenants. The toilet and dishwasher did not work upon move-in.While the building's amenities are good, the build quality in the units is underwhelming. It feels they cut corners on build quality where they can to save money, rather than make a quality living space for tenants. I felt a bit deceived by the showing process and what I ended up living in and paying. Now that winter is here, the build quality really shows. The thermal distribution in the unit is very poor. The bedroom gets all of the heat while the study stays freezing cold, even after adjusting the vent in the bedroom to be nearly fully shut. The floor near windows is especially frigid, despite being fully shut and locked.Since living here, they have moved to solely accepting online payments through a company called BILT Rewards. I have had issues making payments through their site on more than one occasion, our property cannot assist with these issues, and BILT support is lacking. BILT is partnered with Wells Fargo, who has been in trouble for their practices too many times. I had expressed to the team my discontent trying to use BILT initially, my concerns about their information sharing practices, and yet the team claims they moved solely to BILT on the premise that tenants have been raving about it. I can't understand any reason other than a partnership between Windsor and BILT for this move to solely paying rent online with BILT, which is dissatisfying and not putting the tenants first. This seems to indeed be the case upon looking into the situation – there are announcements of the partnership between GID-Windsor and BILT.Overall, the quality feels far from what's appropriate for the price and location. I moved from another "luxury" apartment in the area to this one, with a hefty rent increase, and feel my previous apartment was actually of much better build quality. That said, I do believe there are great aspects to living here. For one, the nature reservation with access literally across the street is amazing. It is such a peaceful and beautiful amenity to living in this area. The walking / biking trails connecting from here are also a great perk of living here.

I moved in 6 days ago, and here are my impressions of Windsor at Cambridge Park so far.My south-facing unit comes with a lot of sunlight, which I love. My one-bedroom unit also comes with A LOT of storage spaces in the kitchen, closet, and bathroom. The high 10ft ceiling makes the unit appear a lot bigger than its square footage. The only downside I was already expecting at move-in is the noise coming from the train track. It’s certainly louder than I thought, but it doesn’t bother me much. If you’re noise-sensitive, it might be something to think about though.I especially want to give a huge shout-out to the staff here! The leasing team and the maintenance team have been nothing but wonderful. During the entire application and move-in process, Miranda in the leasing team has been so welcoming, kind, responsive, and helpful. I had so many questions and changes, but Miranda was so flexible and accommodating every time. After I moved in, I had several maintenance requests (e.g., toilet and sink plumbing, tub fixture repair, ice maker replacement). The maintenance team came to address them within 24 hours (15 minutes for emergency requests like toilet plumbing). Wes in the maintenance team has been very knowledgable and helpful every time. Overall, the staff is AMAZING! For this reason alone, I am so happy I chose Windsor at Cambridge Park as my first place to live in MA!

Just wanted to quickly share how phenomenal Wes and the entire maintenance team are at providing superb, reliable, and expert service. Not only are the community amenities great, but the rooms are always kept in requisite order by the talented maintenance crew. Above and beyond all expectations.

Have been living here for 2 weeks so far. The management team (Ted, Jordan, and Miranda) was friendly and helpful. The maintenance technician (Wes) is also very friendly and help us fix things promptly. Looking forward to staying here.

Time has truly flown by during our stay here at Windsor. We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for everything Windsor team has done to make this place feel like home. Their assistance and dedication have made our time here incredibly comfortable and convenient, and for that, we are truly thankful. I remember when we decided to move to Boston last year, we have visited all the apt buildings nearby and from all the showing staffs, Windsor team makes us think we are turely welcomed and going to be taken good care of. And in the end, we did.Without a doubt, this has been the best apartment we've ever had the pleasure of calling home.

Update to my 8/23/23 review: We just had another faulty fire alarm today, 8/31. Typical story: fire department came, turned the alarm off, and left. This was THIRD faulty fire alarm this month.I also want to respond to the comment from Windsor Properties to my initial review: This condescending and patronizing comment is exactly what I expected, and I am sure people who read my review were not surprised at all by your response. Instead of addressing any of the serious issues brought up in my review, all you tired to do was imply I am not even a resident. This is typical how management deals with almost any issue in this building. Rather than resolve problems, they try to explain them away. You do not care to discuss my "thoughts", as you call them. These were not "thoughts" or some subjective feelings about the property. What I listed in my review were facts observed while living here. If you were really disappointed by the low score, and cared about your tenant's safety, and what they think or feel, you would not ignore these problems and would instead make investments to improve the situation at Windsor at Cambridge Park.

I’ve lived at Windsor at Cambridgepark for 5 yrs. I have looked at other leasing locations around the Boston area during the 5 yrs but always renew with Windsor for the following reasons: 1) the leasing staff ( Ted, Jordan, Miranda, Kaity) are so responsive to any concerns or questions I have. They are always pleasant to have a discussion with and are super friendly to my dog who loves to visit the leasing office. 2) the maintenance team responds to my workorders in 48 hours and fixes the issue completely without issues. The maintenance team is very professional and knowledgeable and I never have concerns about there work. 3) the apartments are beautiful and the layout of the apartment is efficient and maximizes space. As noted above I have lived here for 5 yrs and though the rent has increased ( along with other rentals in the Boston area) the investment is worth it. The amenities of a full gym, pool area, beautiful courtyard and the upkeep of the amenity services make it worth it. 4) the location is great- there is a reservoir literally across the street where my dog can get long walks and I can enjoy a little bit of nature in the mist of city living.

We just renewed our lease for a 2nd year at Windsor Cambridgepark. Overall, the value of the amenities, proximity to the T, great staff and quality of the units is strong ROI. I love the pool in the summer and despite being near the commuter rail, the building and residents are respectful and fairly quiet. (Construction has unfortunately been loud and ongoing for longer than I’d like/have originally estimated. This is temporary though, not Windsor’s fault, and seems to be almost done for the building next door!)However, as another resident mentioned, the lack of wifi is really disappointing and general connectivity is poor in some parts of the building. For example, I can’t get Spotify to load in the gym on their wifi nor my phone’s data. Several of the vending machines do not work on a regular basis; when they do work, it’s so convenient to be able to grab a ginger ale for an upset stomach without having to go all the way to the store. They also have far too many compact parking spaces in the garage while the majority of the residents have SUVs.Outside of this, Ted from the leasing team is hilarious and helpful. Jordan is friendly and knowledgeable. Wes from the maintenance team is always prompt and efficient. Kaity is overall a gem! Our questions and concerns are always answered in less than 24hrs.
