“This post office does not deliver mail. All other services only. Such as, but not limited to, all mailing out/packaging & shipping services, p.o. box rentals, supplies, etc. Great customer service. Never really a long wait unless a customer holds up the line for whatever reason.”
“Kind of strange to be writing a review for the post office, but after reading the bad reviews for the Dedham post office, I went ahead and made my way to the Westwood post office.
I thought the woman behind the counter was extremely patient as I tried to figure out the best way to send my three different tax-related documents -– some that needed certified with return receipt, others that did not. Apparently the type of envelope that you buy can determine the way it’s mailed, and some envelopes end up costing more than others because of that.
In the end, I was able to get everything mailed, get the return receipts I needed, and she never made me feel rushed or stupid. It was also five minutes before closing time, so I give her a lot of kudos for that too.”
“Protect Dave at all costs! Today was my last day to bring my package to return an item to the post office [ i haven't been around] and i wasn't about to shove it into the box outside. He was already outside the building for a moment and he took the time to stop and answer my question. He wasn't rude or in a rush but the complete opposite. He doesn't know this but this is my first package i have ever sent out to return that wasnt Amazon and he took it and processed it for me to send out. This is above and beyond attitude. “My family and I went in to get passports because the office in West Roxbury has to cancel our appointment last minute. There was only one woman at the desk and she was the most helpful and kind human being. She took care of everyone’s needs that walked into that office. I wish I could remember her name, I believe it started with an R. Great customer service. It was my first time there and I would go there over the West Roxbury service any day!”

“My mom sent a package for my son’s first birthday. The tracking showed it was delivered yesterday, but we never received it. I called the USPS Norwood branch today, and Justin answered the phone. He was extremely courteous and helpful, promising to look for the package and follow up with me. Within 15 minutes of my call, a USPS employee came to our mailbox and found the package! I was so impressed by their quick response. Thank you so much for your help — we have a very happy birthday boy now!”
“I think the "mean lady" is gone because I've been to this location several times in the last few months, and they are wonderful! When the line gets long, they apologize for the wait and are very nice and helpful. I find this location a lot better than the E Walpole and Randolph locations where I used to go. The two current employees I always see are quick, knowledgeable, and kind.”

“One of the Best Post offices I experienced. Everyone is so friendly, professional and quick to solve your needs. Rafel, the Post Master is always motivated to help you, and Sheri, the Supervisor is quick to listen and connect on a personal level. “The US Post Office in West Roxbury provides solid, reliable service and the staff is generally helpful and efficient. I would have given it 5 stars, but the parking situation makes it a bit inconvenient. It’s street parking only, and I had to park a couple of blocks away. Aside from that challenge, the post office itself does a good job and is dependable overall.”
“I had a good experience here just today dropping off a package with all the details and label already put on. There’s social distancing norms in place with little indicators on the floor and masks on policy. There was only one counter open at my time of visit around 4pm but, there wasn’t a big line so it was ok.Contrary to all the reviews I saw about this place before my visit, I was leaning towards a bad experience but, i didn’t have one. It was a standard drop off for my package and I was done within a few minutes, got the receipt and headed home.”
“I would like to take a moment to recognize the excellent service I consistently receive from Joe at this USPS. He is always incredibly helpful, taking the time to suggest the best shipping options based on my needs. His patience and attentiveness truly make a difference in every visit.

There’s also an Asian woman who works with him (she’s often times in the back, and helps out if it gets too busy), she’s also very nice and helpful. This location has the most smiley + happy employees out of other post offices around Quincy. Love this location due to these reasons!”

“This office definitely gets busy during peak hours, and you can expect some long lines. The problem is that people needing regular postal services (which are quick but high in traffic) are mixed in with those coming for passport services (which take longer but have less traffic). So, there’s definitely room to make things more efficient. On the bright side, the staff here are super friendly and professional. If you can swing by during off-peak hours, you’ll be pretty happy with the service!”
