“A&B Liquor is one of those places that sticks with you long after you’ve moved on or changed your routine. Looking back on the time I spent shopping here, what stands out the most is the incredible staff behind the counter. They are genuinely nice, friendly, and remarkably intuitive. If you’re in the mood to chat, they are wonderfully conversational, but if you’re having a quiet or tough day, they offer a completely nonjudgmental space and just let you shop in peace. That level of empathy and customer service is rare.
Beyond the welcoming atmosphere, their selection is fantastic. They keep all the reliable basics perfectly stocked—from everyday wines and beers to standard hard liquors—while always having an awesome variety of new things to try if you want to branch out.
Even if you only drop in occasionally, this is a phenomenal, community-minded business in Worcester that deserves all the support.”

“Huge fan of 7 star liquors. It’s always nice going to a new liquor store especially one that is freshly renovated. The customer service was great, I needed help finding a specific bottle of bourbon and they were able to find it for me. Highly recommend 7 star liquors if you’re a local or near the area.”

“Convenient, friendly, cheap, and good quality. They have a wide variety of options for everything from wines to whiskeys to liqueurs, even having been one of the few places I found green chartreuse. Their prices are also pretty good. Significantly lower than some of the other liquor stores close by. Definitely check them out if you’re in need of some alcohol and happen to drive down 146-South.”

“This particular liquor store has a large variety of alcoholic beverages both cold and warm on the shelf. VinnyC's sells whiskey, rum, wine, beer, spirits and so much more. If you are in the local area and looking for a liquor store that has a great selection / variety of alcoholic beverages including alcoholic beverages other smaller liquor stores may not carry try VinnyC's. The prices are spot on and competitive.
My only recommendation is for the owner(s) to consider some remodeling . This would give the store a newer feel / vibe. Even updating the floor carpeting would be nice. Other than that great place with zero issues.”

Everything looks fresh, tastes vibrant, and is priced so fairly that you can shop with both joy and peace of mind.
My favorite part of Gala Foods has always been the deli — truly one of the best in all of Worcester (and I say that as a former deli worker!). Their sandwiches are made with love and precision, bursting with flavor and generosity.
I especially want to recognize Alfred, one of the deli staff members, who consistently went above and beyond. His kindness, humor, and genuine attentiveness turned an ordinary lunch stop into something special. He treated us not just like customers, but like guests, and you could tell he takes pride in making food that touches people’s hearts.
What stands out most about Gala Foods is the culture of care that shines through every person there. The whole team radiates friendliness and sincerity — it’s clear that leadership has created an environment where people love what they do and love who they work with. That kind of joy can’t be faked; it’s felt in every smile and every fresh, delicious bite.
The selection of Latin American foods is also outstanding — diverse, authentic, and beautifully presented. You can feel the pride and cultural richness that Gala Foods brings to the community.

“never personally had a bad experience with this location been going for the last 7 years. usually i run ito polite staff that seem to know more or less the happenings in the community and in the store regarding where to find the exact drinks to meet your needs.dont expect too much conversation or english but dont be afraid to engage with the customer service team either. they do their job well and have a decent selection for being a smaller store. your going to a liquor store so dont have the highest standards and youll be fine and probably have a great time. dont take my word for it go see for yourself”
