“We LOVE this market!! We end up needing something just about every day and they almost always have what we’re looking for. Their hot bar selection is great and everything is homemade. A nice selection of beer, wine and cider, and Boar’s Head deli.
But the best thing are the friendly, helpful folks who work here. The neighborhood is better with this wonderful market here.”
“Tiny, quaint Mom and Pop store catering mostly to the Hispanic community around it. I believe it closes around 8 p.m. They sell anything from cigs to plamtains to penny candy to frozen meat and groceries. They are always smiling!”

“The Winter Farmers Market is wonderful. Just this last Sunday they had food trucks, Santa taking photos with pets, and tons of vendors. I finished-up my holiday shopping and had a lovely chat with the market's owner!”
“Thank you for your wonderful customer service. I had a lot of groceries that I was putting on the conveyor belt. Unbeknownst to me, a bag of rice was damaged and rice was spilling out. Before I emptied my cart, the cashier handed the bag to another employee, who quickly got a bag to replace the broken bag. All of this was done with pleasant manners and big smiles ! I love shopping st the Big Y in Amherst.”

“If you are looking for glitz or glamor, this is not the place. you need to look over products closely. With that said, the quality of the items was very good, I was surprised the beef was good, fresh and yummy, and the produce fresh, doesn't have all my needs, but worth a trip”
“We brought my big teenage son out to eat at the People's Pint. The three of us had two Squealer burgers and one Pulled Pork sandwich. first of all, the food is locally sourced and very fresh. We loved our meals and had great service. It's very evident that this is a place that takes care of its employees and gives back to the community. The People's Pint is very concerned about the environment with little or no paper; they use cloth napkins. The beer was great. We loved it and we'll be back!”
“Love Big Y. All groceries and food costs of all kinds have greatly increased since covid/Ukraine but my family has used this as an opportunity to buy less food, but higher quality and Big Y is great for this endeavor. They source a lot of their great products locally, have great meat, seafood, and deli depts and their produce section is always immaculate. Buy fresh, local, quality products at Big Y! If even trashy junk food is prohibitively expensive, you might as well get the good stuff!”

“This Big y is one of the best! it has an amazing selection and it's always stocked! don't get me wrong.I love the small ones around me.But nothing beats having it all at your fingertips... try out the big y pizzeria.They make cheap extra large pizzas quick ready for pickup!”

“The butcher that worked today 12/3 around noon time was outstanding. He took the time to assist me and my 17month old son with our selections. He walked with us from chicken, to beef, and then fish selections; using sanitary and food safety skills with each exchange and was spot on in his calculations.Ive had good and poor experiences with this store, however lately the good has been tipping the scale. Keep up the great work we love the local, small town feel!”

“I continue to shop there for its convenient location. The only issue I never mentioned is the employees tend to hover and make you feel like they're watching you shop all under the guise of offering assistance! A couple of times I've had to ask them, "can I help you?"”
“I hadn't been here in several years, but this is the only place I know of that carries Borden white American cheese.When I went inside I was pleasantly surprised.The establishment has really cleaned itself up, literally.The produce section was very nicely kept (it was getting an automatic spray when I went by) and their selection of all items throughout the store was very impressive.The next time I go in I will have to take more time to look around, I was just in a hurry because I really needed the Borden cheese.”

“I go here to buy meat, eggs, oats, beans, fruit sometimes. A lot of the foods here are poisonous so you have to keep your wits about you but there’s some real sustenance in the weeds.”
