“My wife and I recently stayed at the Nobnocket and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such hospitality. The inn itself is beautiful with a tremendous amount of character with attention to detail everywhere you look. Our room was stylishly appointed, bed was extremely comfortable, and there were thoughtful touches about. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. My wife and I looked forward each day to a new and amazing dish coming from Anabelle's kitchen. Simon and Anabelle both were amazing hosts and we will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone staying on the island.”

“We had an incredible dining experience at Woods! The food was absolutely outstanding—every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive. Our server, Hurley, was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and brought such great energy to the table. He made us feel truly welcome and even engaged us in some great conversation, which really elevated the whole evening. Bridget also stopped by during our meal and added such a special touch to the experience. Her cocktail recommendations were spot-on—each one complemented our courses perfectly and showed her deep knowledge and passion. It was also just great to see her again! A big shoutout as well to our busser, David, who was equally fantastic. He made sure our table was always clean, our water glasses were full, and that we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. It's rare to find a place where both the food and service hit such a high mark—highly recommended and we'll definitely be back!”

“Remodeled older home that's a very nice place to stay. Quiet room, cozy size, comfortable bed. Newly painted and remodeled from how it looked. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Short walk to dining locations down the street.”
“Fantastic location and staff. Room was very spacious and a bit on the rustic side which was great for our family. The onsite parking lot is pretty tight but there is another lot about a block away - this would be worth asking about before you arrive in case the small lot is full. The private beach is very nice and again the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend.”

“We are so pleased with our choice to stay at The Mansion House! Perfect location, historic building, with spacious and immaculate rooms. They have a full size gym, sauna , steam room, hot tub and a pool! The rooftop cupola was lovely to sit at with a coffee in the morning enjoying the sun to start the day. The continental breakfast offered oatmeal, cold cereal, baked goods, yogurt, juice and coffee. We had minor issues with TV and charging station for our phones and they were dealt with promptly. We couldn’t help but notice the meticulous eye of the manager, Sam Tyree, who was constantly on his toes examining the details of the interior of the building. Emma, Trey and Cordella were helpful and friendly always greeting us with a smile and kind words. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to MV!”

“From the moment I booked, the service was exceptional! Manager Dammar Jackson resolved my booking issue (second party booking) with warmth and efficiency, Shawna Hudson worked magic to secure extra nights during a sold-out period, and Majorie Edwards offered kindness and encouragement every step of the way. The hotel’s amenities are excellent, and its central location—within walking distance to the ferry, grocery store, and more—makes it perfect for any traveler. An affordable hotel with a home feel made truly extraordinary by its incredible staff!””
“We love this place. Rustic, but well cared for. The location is why we come, simply spectacular views and in a low key part of the island. Well equipped kitchens and walk to Menemsha town over boardwalk and dunes.”
