“Beautiful quiet hotel, with lush green landscape & fresh flowers, meticulously decorated room with comfortable beds, very professional & friendly staff from the front desk team Abby & Jackson to the kitchen staff who prepared & served tasty breakfast every morning.
They helped us leave Martha’s Vineyard with great memories.

“The front desk staff and Megan at the pool were outstanding! The guy working in the “behind the view” bar was not polite and was very overwhelmed. Super slow service. They seemed understaffed in there . I recognize it’s not yet peak season, but it seems strange for such an expensive 5 star hotel to not have waitstaff out on the massive (and stunning) front porch. Everyone had to go get their own drinks and there was no food allowed out there. Room was spotless and bed super comfortable . Could hear every footstep above us, though so bring ear plugs. Super close to a very quaint downtown. We rode the bikes and they were great! The bellmen set them up for us, adjusted the seats, etc. Was sad that the lighthouse is covered and under construction. Really detracted from the beach either all the vehicles and work supplies. Overall, a great stay .”

In summer, the Pool Bar is exactly where you want to be: casual, breezy, and perfect for a post-beach bite or cocktail. For dinner, The Dunes delivers across the board. Chef Richard’s menu is thoughtful and seasonal, with clean flavors and beautiful presentations that feel elevated without being fussy. Don’t leave without ordering the dessert bento box by pastry chef Sofia; it’s playful, generous, and a must-try finale.
Service sealed the deal on our recent visit. Our server, Liz, was the best: knowledgeable, attentive at the right moments, and genuinely warm. Between the ocean-adjacent setting, the polished but welcoming atmosphere, and a kitchen that’s clearly firing on all cylinders, the Winnetu is an easy recommendation for both resort guests and island locals looking for a great meal.”

“great location and great price for our room. would stay here again for sure. just one thing is the rooms walls are thin and heard the person nextdoor to us at six am on the phone for literally three hours. otherwise the staff was great extremely friendly and fun!”

“Where to begin - this was simply the best hotel experience we've ever had, from welcome to checkout. The staff was kind, thoughtful, and took time to genuinely get to know us. The hotel was spotless, the room beautiful, and the location puts you steps from Edgartown; breakfast was incredible, and the nightly homemade chocolate chip cookies were a perfect touch. We'll stay here every time we return to the Vineyard.”

“Visited from Scotland several days ago with my husband and kids and my sister and stayed for 2 nights as part of a holiday including NY and Salem and I have to say this was our favourite hotel by far. We booked a family room and a separate double room for my sister and both rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Staff at the front desk were friendly and approachable and the location was ideal for exploring the island. Overall I would rate this hotel highly and we are very much hoping to return some time in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”
