“We had a very positive experience with Home Team Moving — it was fantastic from start to finish. I called several different companies for quotes and Ben was the only one who offered, actually insisted, that he come to house. He wanted to see exactly what the move would entail so he could give us an accurate quote. (I was annoyed to get quotes from other companies who had not even seen our home.) Ben came out the next day, walked thru the house, saw every floor, every room, opened every door. He immediately had suggestions for how to handle the move efficiently and with the least amount of stress. It was clear that he wasn’t just considering how to our stuff, but also how to help us handle the move emotionally. A day or two later he sent me an estimate with a breakdown and a proposed schedule. It was a helpful process that made me feel like we were in good hands.

We ended up spreading the move out over three days. The first day the team tackled the kitchen and helped me pack our basement, which included a large number of collectibles and memorabilia. It was an emotional day for me as I helped them remove and carefully pack the items. The team was supportive and positive and kept things moving along. We followed more of Ben’s great advice and stayed at a hotel the night before the move. Load in day had them dealing with icy conditions in the driveway, but the team was prepared and unfazed. Again, everyone was positive and efficient. They were constantly checking in about where we wanted things placed so we wouldn’t have to move anything after they left. We have moved MANY times over the last 20 years and this was by far the least stressful. It was actually kind of fun — great conversations, lots of laughter and kindness all around. We are thankful to Ben and the whole team for making it such a great experience.

They were, hands down, the best moving team I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The crew was on site on time, staffed and ready to go for our move. We had a few surprise items that they made room for, and all of our equipment was treated with care and moved without a scratch on it or the building it was located in. Brian was our main point of contact and had great insight on safely moving everything, he even went the extra mile to build a ramp at our location to get it all moved in through a non-optimal setup. The team on site; Tim, Alwyn, Marcos, John and Collin, were all kind and professional, working quickly to get our entire move done in around 4 hours. The driving skills to maneuver the truck into the right place down an alley and behind a building are reason enough to hire them! Every member of the team was helpful and willing to go the extra mile to finish the job. I cannot recommend Sterling enough for the move, ask for these guys specifically! They worked together like a well oiled machine and made moving thousands of pounds of equipment look easy.
From start to finish the entire hiring process was simple and streamlined. Kevin was prompt and informative through email and coordinated our move in just a few days time. The price point was also fair and very competitive based on other movers and well worth it.

“Ben and team moved us from MA to SC. I've heard horror stories about interstate moves, but this one could not have gone any better. They were at our house exactly on time on moving day and carefully recorded everything that was to be packed up. Two days later they showed up on time 1100 miles from where they started and unpacked everything where we wanted. Despite moving 3 large TV's and many large pieces of art, not a single thing was damaged or broken. On top of it all, Ben, Jeremiah, and Ryan were incredibly nice. “These guys were great. I was priced at $200 for two hours with a two man crew working on a two-bedroom move out. The next day they showed upright on time with a three man crew for no additional cost. They were fast and easy to work with. The move itself was very straightforward.

Unfortunately, my work/gaming monitor was damaged during the move, but they were kind enough to let me replace it with a a screen they had of their own for no charge.

They said they would arrive between 8 and 8:30 and they did.They did go a little past the time quoted but that is to be expected especially since we were located on the 3rd floor with no elevator. They were professional. Anything they pulled apart they put back together.Highly recommend.”
