As a former conscience store worker myself I know how brutal it must be to run a family oriented business that checks so many boxes of greatness. Despite my busy schedule I found time to get a sandwich from their deli and it was incredible. With the Deep River cheddar horseradish chips on top? Can’t beat it.”

They know the regular customers, I grew up with Debbie's (one of the managers) daughter; every time I go there I feel like I'm seeing a familiar face. The only thing that I would change is the way the parking lot flows! People park like absolute douche canoes. It's like they don't care if a single other car can get in or out, as long as they get their space just where they want it, or if they can't get the space that they want, they cram this giant land yacht into wherever they can... Screw anyone else that may have to back up & get to work on time; heaven forbid they have an emergency!”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
