“Our go-to local bookstore for the family, we've been going since it was Toadstool in the old location. Our kids have grown up with Balin, moving from the well-stocked children's book section to the YA titles and beyond. Truly an asset to our community, and a great place to shop!”
“One-On-One exceptional customer service. I went in to look for bereavement gift for my friends who lost her husband. I was greeted at the door with a very lovely young woman who assisted me in finding prayer book and a beautiful necklace that had to earned in the back of it for her husband's ashes and I will let you know. My friend absolutely loved the gifts.
I know you don't normally give gifts at a funeral but my girlfriend needed to have something with her after to help her get through this trying time.
They have necklaces and bracelets and bookmarks and and pairing stones and anything you could possibly imagine to help you get over, get through and move on your faith journey.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and there is some seating that if you want to sit down with some of your purchases before you bought them, there was the ability to do that there.
Again, wonderful experience and I shop here quite often, especially when I need extra special gifts as it pertains to religious occasions.”
“An amazing book store, chock full of well-priced and highly curated books. The fiction section was eclectic without being filled with junk. There were so many best sellers and award winning literary fiction from the last 30 years, including works from Scandanavia, the UK, and elsewhere.
Overall, an extemely spacious store - there is other media (DVDs, some manga) and some more items as well
Valley Wild Books is the type of place to spend a lazy Sunday, and you'll be sure to leave with an armful of books - we did!

“This is a unique find. They had many books my girlfriend likes. It is located at what looks like a house off the road. The staff here were very friendly and professional. There is enough parking for the size of the store. Their hedges need to be trimmed because they were get in the way walking to the building and getting me wet on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We are looking forward to going back again soon!”
