“Overall, I had a good experience with Bob’s Discount Furniture because their customer service is outstanding. Every time I contacted them about an issue, they were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. They never gave me a hard time and were always willing to repair or replace the furniture. I truly appreciate that.
That said, my experience with the wooden furniture was disappointing. Almost every replacement arrived with a different defect—small dents, paint flaws, or wood imperfections. None of the issues were major, but after several exchanges, I realized it was very difficult to receive a completely flawless piece. Eventually, I decided to keep the items with the smallest imperfections because I was simply tired of exchanging furniture.
On the other hand, my sofas arrived in perfect condition, and most of my rugs were also great. So this review is specifically about my experience with some of the wooden furniture, not everything I purchased.
If you value excellent customer service, I would absolutely recommend Bob’s. Their team was always respectful and helpful. However, if you’re very particular about cosmetic perfection in wood furniture, you may want to inspect your items carefully upon delivery or consider a retailer with stricter quality control.
Overall, the furniture is beautiful, the prices are fair, and the customer service is excellent. I just wish the quality control on some of the wood pieces matched the level of service.”

“I had a really good experience at IKEA in the Boston area and I’m giving it 5 stars. The store was huge and had a great selection of furniture, decorations, kitchen items, and pretty much anything you could need for your home. Everything was well organized, and even though the store is massive, it was fairly easy to find what I was looking for. The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful whenever I had a question. I also liked being able to actually see the furniture set up in full rooms instead of just looking at pictures online, which makes choosing things much easier. The store can definitely get busy, so I’d recommend giving yourself enough time to properly look around. Overall, there’s not much I can complain about. Great selection, good service, and a genuinely enjoyable shopping experience. Easy 5 stars from me.”

“I cannot say enough good things about this venue. The day of my wedding ran without a hitch, and largely behind the scenes which I think is testament to the incredibly hard work the staff was doing that day to keep everything moving.
The venue itself is lovely- both the barn and the stage were built by hand by the owner, what a talent, and it gives it a loved vibe- sometimes a hand crafted building has a different personality, you know?
I also appreciated the speed and precision with which they packed us up and got us home at the end of the night, it was lovely to be able to pop boxes in cars and just leave within 5 minutes.
A lovely finishing touch was the card that the staff signed for us. This is not something you would get from a large corporate venue. It was a beautiful reminder that this is a locally owned and operated venue, full of people who take pride in hosting people's major life events.”
