“I bought these for my mother who was a marathon runner when she was younger. She always wore Hersey's shoes in races because of various issues with her feet while wearing regular running shoes. She is now almost 89 and has continued to run (but not in Hersey's). She experienced debilitating leg pain, forcing her to stay off her feet, until we tracked down Hersey's shoes now under Stephen. She is now out running 3 miles most days. The shoes fit perfectly. They took a while to get made, but well worth it. Making custom shoes is a craft, not an assembly line. We're ordering another pair so she'll always have an extra pair. These shoes made running possible for my mom.”

“Evans has th best selection of shoes in the area _ hands down. They have a wide variety of brands _ including many from Germany, Italy, etc. They also have a fabulous selection of cowboy boots - Ariat, Abilene, Bogs, etc.I also love their selection of mittens, hats, and gloves!They have a decent women's clothing section as well as Men's _ and very limited baby section.There are two floors upstairs they move camping/hiking gear but also their clearance shows (which is my favorite place to start). Downstairs is women's, mens, baby, retail shoes, etc.Staff is always amazingly helpful!”

“An old time shoe store that actually provides customer service . Imagine a knowledgeable sales staff that takes the time to measure your feet and take the insets out of the shoes to see where your arch meets up . Forget Bobs stores , Walmart , or Tractor supply one size fits all boots . Prices were comparable to big box stores and they stock real work boots , gloves , high vis , socks , jackets , vests , bibs , hats , long underwear and scrubs for nurses and medics professionals. Honest people great products !”

It's organized with friendly staff always willing to help, and its an easy enough environment to just try on a new pair of shoes when you need to.”

“The store is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. I did find a pair of sketches sneakers I really loved that they did not have my size in. When I asked if they had anything out back, I was informed that they do not carry back stock. So whatcha see is what they have. BUT it was so easy to order them right there at the register and have them shipped to me via FedEx I paid for them and 2 days later they showed up and fit nicely. I was also told that if they didn't fit well I could return them yo the store and either order another size or get a refund. Now I think that says our customers come first. I will def shop here for shoes again.”

“Friday night the kids, grandpa and I went shoe shopping. We discovered this place. They have a huge selection on kid’s and men’s shoes and boots. The hospitality, a.k.a. customer service was impeccable, the staff took care of my Dad and help them find shoes that fit his foot with his condition. They even help the kids try on their shoes they tied up all the laces and everything. I highly recommend this store if you are looking for high quality customer service with great prices.”
