Have had all good experiences with online and on the phone and talking one on one at my branch. Just remember that the person you speak to didn't build or install the computer that has messed up. Just be nice?.

I am beyond frustrated and stressed from this bank . I am living in Florida , and I called to have a check sent from my account in the Framingham location out to my address in Florida. I called and did this on September 22. It is now October 10th, well over the 5-7 business days I was told I was going to receive my check. After all of this time and several phone calls to metro to see where the heck my check is , today I received a statement showing that 2000 dollars has been taken from my account . However, I did not receive a check with my money. Where is my 2000 dollars and where is the customer service. I really need MY MONEY , and they have failed at every turn. I am going to be leaving this awful bank as soon as possible . I expect to have my money expedited to my address after this horrible experience . At this point I feel like someone from metro credit union has stolen from me . UPDATE- this keeps getting better . After everything I finally get in touch with someone and they tell me they can talk to their manager about getting the check overnighted , but they want me to pay the fee ! Are you kidding ! I’m waiting almost a month for a check I really need , metro messed up and didn’t do their job correctly and now they want me to pay for them to fix it . Absolutely not . I need to speak to someone in charge immediately and I need my check .

MCU was recommended to me for a Mass Saves home heating loan. I was told by numerous people that I could apply online and go there and pick up the check. I applied and provided all the information. The contractor was at my house installing the equipment , so I drove to Metro and after 20 minutes was told my loan was denied. I called Mass Save and was directed to another company for my loan. I applied on a Friday, approved and had a check in hand on Tuesday. On Monday, I got an email from the associate at Metro and was told my Metro loan was approved. The Metro associate said she was on vacation the previous week and did not hand her work to anyone to follow up. I am still getting welcome to MCU emails even though I declined the loan. Very unprofessional handling, horrible customer service and no one picks up the phone! Not to mention I now have an extra inquiry on my 800+ credit score. I recommend Capital Good Fund .

This branch has to be the worst of all. They make it a point to profile you all the time. Ask you to repeat your name, date of birth and address even when you present a REAlL ID. They are very rude all the time. There is a particularly unhelpful older gentleman who makes it feel like he is doing you a favor trying to get your money out.thereThis branch is a big tar on the Metro Credit Union brand. The same week I went to the West Roxbury branch and my phone number which is the same since I opened the account was enough to identify me.STOP stressing people out.

My auto loan ended up with MCU and I cannot for the life of me get it paid online in the portal, the phone lines are always busy and their their portal is absolutely atrocious. Based on all of the other reviews I’m seeing, this seems standard and now I’m at the risk of a late payment which I’ve never ever had before.

The Framingham branch seems to be closed for indoor services very frequently. I would suggest that a sign be put up near the drive through and not just on the front door of the building that reads “all services being done through drive through, please be patient” or something similar so that people understand that things that should be taken care of inside and that may take about ten minutes are not just customers being lazy and going through drive through. I had a man beeping his horn and screaming at me and I felt very unsafe during my transactions with the teller through drive through. I closed my accounts with this bank because of how difficult it is to work with, including online services.

I really did not want to leave a review, because I don't think they are particularly helpful... you bank where you bank. But I hope this message gets back to the teller/banker. I went in on Nov. 3 seeking assistance. The female teller with dark hair was extremely rude and off-putting right from the jump. I have never experienced such awful service, and considering I was in there dealing with the aftermath of my father's death made the whole situation so much worse. I hope she sees this and thinks of others before projecting her miserable attitude onto people.

Basically no customer service reps at this branch. To open a time sensitive account is impossible. Staffing only can do teller work unless they are a manger. The manager only takes appointments and takes weeks for an available time. Opening an account takes 45 minutes in their system. Yikes!

I'm in the middle of getting a loan and when i call in to the bank they ask me If i wanted the added credit protection. i couldnt make up my mind within 2 minutes i was hoping the person on the phone would give me more information about this added protection. So the loan person im speaking to tells me that they can no longer talk to me about this loan and that i need to call back tomorrow. It was less then 2 minutes that i couldn't make up my mind . I found that to be very rude and not the best way to handle business. Now its one day longer that i will have to wait to get this loan to fix my heat and hot water

If I could rate a No star ⭐️ that’s what I would have done, today December 30 I went to the drive-through I was in the drive-through almost 20 minutes waiting I called twice from the drive-through and all they did was shout at me and said it’s only two of us in the building so you have to wait another car came up beside me and they started to help that person before me which was a white person and then I could see that they were playing the race card so I asked them kindly to return my check and my license so I can go and the lady said fine and she return it to me I think that was disrespectful and inappropriate and that’s not no customer service at all worst bank in Framingham???

Impossible to setup an online banking account with them. They tell me they can't set it up because my "zip code is incorrect". Representative I spoke with on the phone could not fix this but promised a call back from someone who could. That call never came. I would love to know what part of my zip code they believe is wrong, as they seem to have no issue sending me mail when they want to.
