I highly recommend Franklin Transmission, the work on my Ford Fusion was done right the first time at a very fair price. They were very accommodating as I lived out of state and they made very easy arrangements for payment and pickup over a weekend!

I thought I was having a transmission problem because traction warning light came on also engine light was onFranklin transmission check it outCall me to tell me that it was not myTransmission but a front hub and the abs system that caused the problemHad it fix in a couple of daysGreat job thanks

Stay away! They kept my car for 4 weeks without looking at it. The old man that used to own this business ran it like a top, now, forget it.

I’ll try to keep this simple. Rude and dishonest! After waiting almost 2 weeks my car was finally looked at and was told (after I had to call 3 days in a row) that our transmission needed to be replaced and it would cost around $2800. I called world class transmission in Mendin to see if the cost would be the same there and spoke to Kyle…he thought it was suspicious that the transmission would need replacement given the age/type of car. He also sounded very knowledgeable and motivated to find a better solution than to just throw a new transmission in so we brought the car to him. Had to pay Franklin transmission $150 diagnostic fee only to find out they never actually looked at it. They “ran codes” and that’s it…never put on a lift and never actually saw our transmission. At world class he actually looked at it, found that a couple of bolts were missing, the pan and fluid needed to be replaced…and we were out the door at under $700. After discussing this with Franklin, they were defensive and rude. Not sure how they’re so busy over there. Probably because there aren’t many transmission shops in the area…but I recommend driving farther for good honest people that actually care about what they do! Our car is running fabulously thanks to world class in mendon!

This business took advantage of a woman who has a son in college in Franklin and I had to entrust a near by auto place to repair his car. ( So he could come home for Christmas) After speaking with the owner's wife who was very rude, he replaced the transmission for a higher price than he quoted me. Furthermore, this man knew that I lived 20 hours away so he spiked the prices extremely high. He charged $23.99 per quart for transmission fluid and he charged me for 10 quarts when according to the dealership the car can only hold 7 quarts. This is also 3 times the amount the dealership would have charged. And lastly he charged my credit card for an amount that I did not authorize. I do plan on notifying the Better Business Bureau. Shame on Franklin Transmission !!You said in your response that you quoted me $2,000- $2,200 but yet you charged a credit card of mine for over $400 more and I did not authorize you to do that. Also I'm not sure I understand what you meant by $100 for transmission fluid. Your quote said $23.99 times 10 which equals $239.90 for transmission fluid not $100. And I see in your response to this review you began to mention things like a CPI charge that was never discussed with me nor approved by me. So while you are making comments to try and justify your actions after the fact, I just want people to know the facts about your fraudulent transactions and your unfair pricing. You took advantage of me and it was wrong! Beware of this business and I am glad an investigation is being conducted.

Disappointed because I liked this place in the past. Biggest mistake was having some old woman, Donna answering their calls. The number is clearly her cell phone with no affiliation to the shop on her voicemail. Sounds like a woman who’s had a rough life with zero people skills.Trust me we won’t be back. You neglected the part where your wife ignored our calls for three weeks prior to my so called “belligerent” phone call. Spelling is key! Three weeks of being ignored. She was also rude upon answering the phone and was clearly annoyed that we were calling at all. A simple answer about what was going on would have sufficed and I would have been fine. Customer service is a necessary skill to have when you’re the front line of a business.I would also like to point out that I immediately left a voicemail after being hung up on explaining that I did not want any animosity, and was completely understanding of the fact that you may be busy. I understand if you’re swamped and can’t get to my car immediately. That was never my expectation, but I have children and we both work. We simply cannot go three weeks without our car and then be given the run around. All you had to say was that you’re backed up and haven’t had a chance to look at it. Give me the opportunity to decide if I can wait for you, or if I should take it somewhere else. I am not an unreasonable person. Perhaps you should respond to your customers as quickly as you respond to your negative google reviews.NO, sir… first of all I called once. My husband called because he was never given an answer one way or the other. He was just told “someone will call you back”, and no one ever did. So yes, he did continue to call. Not sure why you don’t seem to understand this whole concept. If you had just said we haven’t looked at it and are busy and not sure when we will be able to, we would have been fine and understood and made a decision based off that. I had to miss work due to only having one working vehicle between the two of us and having four children and multiple obligations. It’s really sad that you just don’t seem to understand that. Again you don’t have to tell me not to come back. It’s laughable you think we would be back. Good luck to you!

Brought my vehicle to this location a few months ago. I thought my car was a goner when I thought I’d need a new transmission. Turns out it was the axle and the transmission fluid leaked out. Much cheaper fix than I anticipated and my car had been running great since. Richard has followed up with me multiple times to make sure that the car is still running smooth. Great customer service! Would do business with them again!

Franklin transmission is unquestionably the best transmission shop in the area! Brian and all the mechanics are exceptional quality reliable, honest and highly qualified. I brought my sons 2007 Toyota Camry to AAMCO in North Attleboro. They tried to tell me that I needed a extensive transmission repair. I am mechanically inclined, and I realized that this was utter nonsense. I contacted Franklin transmission. The car received a transmission flush with the proper Toyota fluid, and now it shifts perfectly. If you are looking for transmission work, regardless of your vehicle, even if you do not live near Franklin, I would highly recommend using this business. You will not be disappointed! They rebuilt our transmission almost a year ago. We were sent by a friend who raved about them. Well we started having a noise and brought it over no appointment and they took it for a ride and put it right up on the lift. No questions asked. I cant say enough about a qargage that actually stands behind their work and helps their customers out. Even though we put the transmission in ourselves and they just rebuilt it.
