I've been banking with them for 6 years and have never had an issue, however I'm not easily irritated. I don't mind waiting if they're understaffed or busy. That's life, some people need to calm down and not think everything is dropped for them.

All the Employees are great until you try to do something and they have to contact you. I work for a living 32+ hours and I’m trying to answer there calls but they always call at the most inconvenient times. Today one of the workers told me she was going to call me back in a couple minutes cause she had to call one of the other locations. She ended up blowing me off then I kept having to call them back throughout the day cause then they would never tell me why they didn’t contact me. Now I’m sitting here still waiting for a call back !!!!!

The tellers (Scott, Maria & Donna) are nice, but they are usually understaffed and the transactions take forever. If there's a line, you're there 10-20 minutes. Women in the offices ignore the customers instead of helping them.

Brian, Ashley & Maria of the Gloucester office were absolutely amazing and helpful during an extremely inconvenient situation I was dealing with. They went above and beyond to make things work and solve the issue immediately.

Just not a good bank. Long lines. Usually insufficient number of tellers (the tellers are super-nice, but there's rarely more than two and often only one working at a time) and a simple transaction takes 3-4 times longer than any other bank because of their "system", which requires you to "confirm" your own deposit (?). Hire more tellers or have your office staff man the counters and simplify the deposits. Please.

I bank at the Gloucester branch, and find the customer service excellent. From tellers, customer service to the bank manager, everyone is quick to help me with my banking needs. I have been banking at this branch for 4 years. Laura D. Rockport

I'd have to agree with Maeve R. Customers with less than $20k in the bank are unimportant at the Gloucester branch. The Salem branch is good, but what on earth is up with Gloucester? Sorry, but your banking is so awful that I can not believe I banked with you at all. Your attitude toward your customers is very poor. Please find new careers, I hear Gortons is hiring.

Unfortunately zero stars is not an option is totally right. I went with this bank because checks I needed to cash were drawn there and everytime I went in to cash one they pretty much hustled me. So I said f it I'll open an account. Worst thing I ever did!! They are horrible and do not care about their customers while they have them. They rush you through the process and can not own up to their mistakes! I literally went all the way up the chain trying to get overdraft fees credited bank and still in the end they had said it was your mistake we are not refunding. Instead of believing their customer when I say I know for a fact I told the woman I wanted my checking and savings linked to avoid fees! Save yourself the time and money and go with a bank that cares about you!
