“I didn’t catch his name but this hospital has the best vet/vet assistants I’ve ever encountered. He took his time to explain everything to me and wasn’t looking to upcharge on anything. He actually gave me tips for lowering pet care costs. This hospital truly cares about animals, go here if you can!”

“My cats have been visiting this vet for the last year and a half. Dr. Barnes was really helpful in getting my 10yo cat through a big patch of anxiety. She was careful not to run too many tests that would ensure I didn't come out of pocket for unnecessary expenses (oh, that student-on-financial-aid life). And she also trusted my cat mom intuition that his anxiety was exacerbating the issue he was having. All in all, v helpful! My 8yo cat sprained her muscle from jumping and one of the other vets was able to get her in the next day and take a peek at her. They gave her some pain meds and helped me with some advice on ensuring she took the pill. We've also had some vet visits to get rabies and other vaccines. Before the visit, I called the office and they were able to give me some pills that would help de-stress the cats pre-visit. Dr. DeLisle was so helpful in assessing Bella's vision and make sure my cats were healthy. We've seen three different vets here at various times and they were all helpful. Definitely, definitely recommend these fine folks!”

“I really love SDVC for both small and large animals. Everyone is nice, and exams are more thorough than at any other place I've been to and never feel rushed even though they are busy. I also really appreciate that they are happy to give suggestions for different things to try first rather than going right to medication for things like allergies. Thank you all so much. <3”

“If you live in Western Massachusetts this is the best veterinarian around. My furbaby was very sick. She was unable to stand up. We called our regular vet they said it would be several days before they could get her in. We called Dr Katz and they were able to see her in just a few short hours. We found out she has Lyme disease.Thanks to Dr Katz she is getting back to herself.The staff was extremely friendly too! I would recommend this veterinarian to anyone who loves their furbaby as much as we love ours.”

“Hess McWilliams has been a God send. For a new farmer they have provided so much assistance, tips, advice, and worked above and beyond for every animal every time called on. They follow up and respond days and weeks after the visit. I was getting answers and support from a vet on vacation! The whole team, Dr. Hess, McWilliams, Barstow, and Latham have all worked with me at various times, and they are all wonderful, knowledgeable, and very supportive!”

“Dr Owen is wonderful! And her staff is just the best!! I was a client years ago but I moved and had to switch vets. I've recently moved back and am thrilled to discover, ten years later they still have my info and animal records. They got all FOUR of my cats updated in the system AND in for office visits within about a month. (All other vets were 3-6 months wait for an initial visit, plus a $30-$100 deposit PER cat!) “My family followed Dr. Losert from when she worked at the VCA to opening her own hospital. Dr. Losert is an incredible veterinarian who is smart and easy to talk to. She took excellent care of our three dogs and now two cats. My husband and I asked ourselves if we got more animals after our dogs passed just so we could see Dr. Losert again. To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable and all the support staff is amazing.”

“I wish I could give Hampshire vet more stars they are beyond awesome. I had an emergency my cat hadn't peed since Saturday and this was the 4th of July week (Monday the 3rd) I initially called my vet that I normally used( valley vet)explained my situation and they told me oh sorry we're all booked up you can go to south Deerfield. For anyone who doesn't know going to south Deerfield is Uber expensive and this being the start of a new month and a holiday weekend I don't have that type of money right now. So long story short Hampshire vet said we're booked but we can fit you in at 6 mind you never been there a day in my life (wow amazing I know my jaw dropped too). The staff was friendly, kind, gentle and attentive to both me and my Nyla (cat)the doctor was awesome, friendly, thorough( taking the time to answer questions, explain what she was doing, and how to prevent it from happening again) and very very kind and gentle and I'm there at about 7 and they are in no rush to leave or get me out which was a great feeling they did everything they had to do for my baby and saved me as much money as they could as I explained my situation. This vet is the best I will be going here for good from now on bye bye valley thank you for being 'too busy' so I could find this AMAZING vet!!! Don't believe these negative reviews I was weary too after reading them but those reviews held no weight in my amazing visit.”
