“I grabbed a script from here years ago because they were the only pharmacy that had it. They were so nice and pleasant and helpful, a big difference from my normal pharmacy (cvs). After a few more years of going to cvs, getting talked down, treated like a burden, and verbally accosted for being a day late picking up meds or other minor events. I switched to Walmart, I no longer dread going to pick up my medicine, they have gone out of their way twice now to get my insurance to cover medicine (cvs just charged full price). I can not over state the drastic difference in service, turns out I like being treated like a human and not a burden to be dealt with.”

“Have heard good things about this pharmacy for years. Finally left CVS and gave them a shot. Had my prescription ready within 5min, not 2-3 days like I’m use to. Obviously it might not always be that fast, but I also like how knowledgeable the staff members are, and there isn’t a crazy wait to get prescriptions or anything else. Highly recommend.”

“We have used Walgreens for over 15 years, mostly the pharmacy. They are nice and work very hard. Customer service isn’t easy. I have seen so many people be rude and have no patients for the pharmacy workers that are over worked. I am thankful for them and some people should stop for a second and put themselves into their shoes. They are human. I can’t believe how I have seen some people treat them.”

“Kevin deserves an award for true customer service. After 3 years suffering through cancer and the dr's being unable to get my meds correct so i could feel better, I finally found the perfect combo of hormones to make me feel normal and amazing again. Kevin continuously makes multiple of efforts to ensure that I get the correct manufacturer of the meds because a different manufacturer can make a HUGE difference when it comes to thyroid meds. Kevin and the whole Abington Pharmacy team are a godsend.”

“I agree that the lines at the pharmacy are long and it takes a bit of time to get to the front of it but I wanted to share the experience I had this week that will help keep me patient when I find myself in long lines.. As I patiently waited in line, I could hear the young man behind the counter taking his time with each of the customers and giving them his full attention and dedication to their questions. When it was my turn, he took the extra steps to find out why my 86-year old father’s inhaler was $493! Ultimately, it’s because insurance wouldn’t cover it but he gave me suggestions and alternatives to get a lower price. So I guess my point here is, his service and especially his kindness was worth the wait. Thank you.”

“This pharmacy has been really fabulous to deal with. The staff all know what they're doing, prescriptions are all filled without error, with the correct codes. After too many years fighting with various other pharmacies it is such a relief to finally have a good one. Today I needed a prescription they didn't have in stock, I called them - the staff member I spoke with was so customer focused: he called another local CVS, made sure the medicine was in stock, then called our doctor and re-routed the prescription from his pharmacy to the other one - then called me back to update me!!”

“I give this store a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Ihave been going to this pharmacy for 10 years. The staff is polite and helpful. My experience has been with the the cashiers and the pharmacy department. There have been a few bumps in the road of course and to be fair, I have have caused some of the bumps. that bump. As an example I have gone in to the store after a "bad" day at work or I'm mad at someone I know and I don't like something about my visit I become the grouchy rude person. In my everyday life I try to remember that everyone has a bad day once in a while. This helps me walk away and not hold an incident against someone every time I see them . My other observation is that many people have a serious face 80% of the day. This does not mean they're being crabby or being rude. Life is short and challenging at times, but I choose to ignore the small things. I also only confirm medication refills via text confirmations or I call and speak to the pharmacy staff regarding a refill.”

“In fairness, I need to update my first review. I have gone back to this store as I really want it to be the store that I can brag about! I went 2 Monday's ago. It was steady and the one cashier had quite a long line. They opened two more registers and we were all taken care of quickly. I don't mind the lines as I want a person not a self-serve lane. I got very good service and have gone in with my husband for couple of goodies since then. I went today for items I needed and also to maybe order our turkey. The gentleman in the bread aisle was helpful. I have never pre-ordered a turkey and asked him as I was unsure if I read the flyer correctly. I did-he told me to let him know if I couldn't get anyone at the meat counter and he'd get someone. I couldn't get anyone right away so I went back to the bread aisle and got what I needed. He was busy so I told him I'd try again. This time a really nice young man helped me and my turkey is now ordered! The worker in the bread aisle made sure I got to place my order. I'm very pleased with the service. I then went to check out and the cashier was very pleasant. It was the one I spoke of in my first review and I need to make sure she gets credit where it is due. She was excellent in every way today. I was nervous going back as I had a different cashier that other Monday. I'm happy to say how good she was as first impressions could have kept me away.”
