I sat in Bob's Country Kitchen talking to the wait staff trying to figure out were I could take the car to be fixed, and probably called five different places. Val at North End Auto was the ONLY ONE who wanted to help. I had the car dropped off in the morning and by mid-afternoon it was ready with a new, high-quality starter. I absolutely love this place. Val is the PERFECT EXAMPLE of a neighborhood mechanic WORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD. Honest, hard working, careful, thorough and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I could have easily been taken advantage of, being from out of town. Nope. Not here. If you're not having your car serviced by Val, you're missing out. “I came across Oliver’s while looking for an auto body shop to fix a huge red scratch across my car. Let me tell you, AMAZING. When I came in, I met with Todd who looked at my car and gave me a very reasonable price. I dropped off my car the next day and was ready very quickly. The scratch was completely gone and looked incredible, but when I came home I realized he covered a scratch we talked about the day before! Absolutely INCREDIBLE service!!!! I have AAA and they came and put spare on for me. Meanwhile, I called up and asked if they could put the tires on sooner, and they got me right in, even doing the oil change! I truly appreciate everyone taking care of me during my time of need, and highly recommend them to anyone who needs service on their car.”
