“My son and I were in the Hartford area from NYC and stopped in at Craftec Hobbies on Saturday 7/27/24. They have really interesting vintage kits at great prices and the manager (sorry, forgot to catch your name!) was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and even willing to negotiate a bit on some kit prices. We ended up picking up three nice kits and he loaned us a tool we needed too! If you are interested in model kits, you need to make the trip to Craftec!!!”

“Michaels in Pittsfield on Hubbard Avenue does a phenomenal job on framing. John Cathy and Ron are pros. They know what they’re doing and they’re very careful they use white gloves and give you what you want and the prices can’t beat plus, now they earned towards your rewards points, which is a huge bonus. I will continue to use them for my framing on all my future projects.”
“If you need something framed, head to Michaels on Riverdale St. in Springfield and ask for Howard. He is the best and will help you frame most difficult pieces from embroidery that needs to be stretched to an autographed poster that suffered some damage from being carried around to various events. Howard is knowledgeable, knows how to offer advice, and does an amazing job.”

“Have been by a couple times now havent been disappointed. This location is MASSIVE! Hundreds of raw comics, books and high detail figures for collection. Also and the young Spanish guy running the card section is a fantastic employee. Very attentive to customers needs even if they are extremely busy. No issue looking up cards and no issue cutting a deal for multiple cards. If you are looking for great condition raw singles, slabs, sealed boxes or graded comics stop by here! They also have multiple tables and do card tournaments weekly. Give them a shot!”
“Having a few hours to kill on my way to the airport, I chose this shop on a whim. I'm very glad I did. They have a phenomenal manga selection, one of the best I've ever seen. I was able to fill several holes in my collection. While the prices aren't exactly low, they are fair. Should I find myself in Connecticut again, I will be sure to stop by.”
“Nice, organized and clean location. They already had Halloween decorations out in June, which were all very cute even though I didn’t buy any. Not a huge selection of kid friendly painting supplies, but I got something that worked fine for what I needed. Super friendly staff, especially in the framing area! Two checkout lanes open.
